We need to sack Ince now. He has not got the real support of the dressing room, as JW knows. We have not won in 10 league games, who is to say we will get anything from the next couple of games. He does not know what he is doing and is completely out of his depth.

SACK INCE NOW !

Need new imputeous, and new coaches.

Come on rovers, sack him if you want to save your club from Relegation. Appoint Sam Allardyce as manager.

The only reason that there was no booing etc on Saturday was because we needed to support the team and not Paul Ince.

only just noticed spuds won, win saturday and we are still in the relegation zone and who would bet that zaki plus our defence is going to be a rovers win.

Zaki is going to slaughter us. Heck, they scored 5 past us last season with Marcus Bent alone.

Very good article.

Particularly liked:

"Blackburn have a back four as mobile and adept as the Elgin Marble"

and

"Meester Hughes, we have bought you Lionel Messi, Paul Furlong, Ade Akinbiyi and the Yemen for a total outlay of £6bn (most of which we spent on Paul Furlong, actually). Please win the Champions League now, thank you."

Jeff Stelling on saturday talking about a team poor on their travels " They fair worse than hedgehogs on the road" ...comedy gold

Well Hughesy you got me last night! I gotta admit I woke up early today and watched skysports for an extended period of time.

With JW recent comments it has to be curtains for Ince. He definetly had the opportunity to back the manager but instead bigged up the fans and the players. Not sure why he hasn't been fired today but will be seriously unhappy if he lasts tommorrow. It's just not worked out for him. A combination of inexperience, lack of funds, silly acquistions and god awful luck at times, together with the complete vanishing act performed by many of the clubs top professionals. Can't help but feel a bit sorry for the man, but after he is sacked he will not give two hoots about rovers. We must act now for the sake of the club that we love.

Relegation would destroy the club, as bouncing back will be even more difficult.

The board must make two massive decisions tommorrow, the first to sack a manager who has only been in the job 5 months, the other the next appointment.

I would like to see Souness(being a fellow scot) back here to be honest however anybody with premiership experience and a decent record would be fine with me.

Whatever happens the man in January needs to have a hefty budget, and if that means selling RSC than so be it.

Are there any other options besides souness and sam alladyre? I don't think much of souness and i think big sam is not the man to take us forward even though he should keep us safe this season?

I read somewhere that people like lothar mattheus is interested in the sunderland job? Surely, we're just as attractive am option for him?

At the moment I'd settle for just about anyone as I'm convinced that with Ince in charge we're down. Souness or Allardyce would keep us up. I was surprised when people started to mention Souness but the more I think about it Souness in charge with Tugay as player-coach would be a much more pro-Rovers option than what we have right now, and they'd show the passion to get the best out of the players we have, something that Ince clearly lacks.

Mattheus? Definitely worth considering. Would certainly get respect and maybe he could install some German winning mentality. He's got some manager experience though none premiership which may go against him.

Souness is the man. I never thought I would say that after his last stint with the club.

Almost all the playing staff are different to when he was last here, and I would expect him to 'shake hands' with the ones who were with him before.

Maybe this time we can have 3 good years under him, then get rid before the rot sets in again!

Ok So I can understand the Ince Out stuff but I cannot believe the calls for Souness.

We thought we had died and gone to heaven when the decision to fire him was plucked out of our Chairmans hands when he was handed a load of dosh by Newcastle. And after overnight success at Newcastle where has he been successfully plying his trade ?

I know most of this board thinks Ince is in cloud cuckoo land but so far most of the sure fire replacements appear to be strictly for the birds.

Every manager (barring the very best) have their 'sell by' dates, and Souness was no exception. Had Newcastle not come in for him last time, I reckon after a bad season we would have still been in the Prem.

As I said it's more or less a completely different playing staff than when he was last here. He would no doubt befriend the guys he fell out with last time. They are the senior pros now and he would have to get them on his side.

Plus, Dunny is now one of our best players, when he is fit! (souness's gripe last time - never fit - he was correct!)

I can see Souness as a good appointment - but only until that 'sell by date' comes up again!
