LDRover
Some pages ago someone put me in the "crack" category. I actually voted "sack". Lose at Wigan and I want my vote changed to "crack". I might resort to crack as well, anything that dulls the pain.

gazsimm
So it looks like Ince is going to stay for at least the Wigan game (total madness Williams you plonker). I wonder what the fans reaction will be like when we loose at Wigan.
John
Remember, there is not a vacancy at BRFC yet, so you can hardly expect any potential manager to comment on it.
T4E
For both those than mentioned Juande Ramos, and those that thought he wasn't good enough for us - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/7773422.stm
RibbleValleyRover
nicko-so going from contacting sunderland to see if allardyce is available to paul ince having a couple games to save his job-what has changed?? was it the performance against liverpool(which in my view showed alot of passion and determination to get out this mess)??? Probably due to the lack of anti Ince chanting/protests during or after the game. Though most fans realistically weren't expecting anything from this game so that may explain why. If we lose to Wigan I think you will see a different tone from the fans.
gumboots
Remember, there is not a vacancy at BRFC yet, so you can hardly expect any potential manager to comment on it. This leave it for another game or two is no good at all. How can anyone, manager or players perform with the knowledge that any bad result could see the manager sacked. Either it's got to be done now or he's got to stay throughout whatever happens. Leaving it means we'll probably lose the next 2 anyway and then what? who will come here and turn it round. The board, if they don't either sack him or say they are sticking with him are creating a very difficult situation for Ince, the players, the fans and themselves. waggy
the board have not sacked ince,to me that says they are backing the man they hired in the summer,i have been critical off the team,to me they are the main reason hughes left and ince is struggling nelsen-injuries have finished him samba- can't play 2, 45 minutes the same ooijer - wants to go home warnock- very average dunn- injury prone reid-as above the axe - useless tugay- to old pedersen- a film star santa-needs to grow up,either play as we know you can or go benni- hit/miss roberts- garbage andrews-squad player, but when he plays never the worst on the pitch these players preformed poorly from jan onwards apart from santa cruz, they need to earn there money

John
Manager should aim to get the best out of their players. Make them perform to their maximum. Especially when the players are not as talented, a system/formation/tactics should be put in place that makes it hard for teams to break us down, therefore we pick up points in games. Couple of questions we need to ask ourselves: 1) Could another manager (who we could realistically get) pick up more points than Ince? 2) Could this manager spend limited funds in January more wisely? broadsword
Just what Ince needed, unequivocal backing. :-S It's a total muddle, either you back him up all the way or you get shot, you don't leave things dangling over his head. I think we've had 3 wins from 16 games, so for another 9 wins, it needs 48 games. Who can we peitition for a 64 game season? The club seems to be lacking totally in a COHESIVE LEADERSHIP. This muddle can only hinder attempts on the pitch. My prediction? Pain. Still, at least with his track record in keeping Macclesfield up, and winning the Pirelli Nudey Bird Calendar Fruit Bowl at MK Dons, as well as taking them up, Ince will be well placed to win us the Championship in what is a wholly uncompetitive division. We just need to sell what remains of the decent part of the squad, buy that bloke who was in bergerac and now is p/t goalie at MK Dons, buy a few more cloggers, and we'll be well set for that promotion push. waggy
I hear you wagster but its up to ince to MAKE them perform. i think his biggest mistake was thinking he had a quality squad at ewood,a couple off injuries and we were playing players out off position, saturday was the 1st time half a dozen players put in a decent shift.if we have only 5 million to spend in jan,we will need houdini never mind frgie, every manager mentioned with the rovers makes me cringe, bfs sourpuss
MarkisaRover
I hope Paul Ince and the squad prove me wrong, but looking at the facts and current form...we are well and truly buggered. I'm not sure whether I'm more annoyed that Paul Ince is still at the helm, or the fact that JW and the board completely bottled it.
modes98
Im absolutely thrilled that ince has been given more time,i just hope he proves me and a few oyhers right and leaves the rest of ye doubters with egg on your face.Come on you blues I hope he does well but then again he can't really do any worse than he currently is! micktheblue
When Ince was appointed I thought it was a good move compared to the alternatives we were offered. I still think he is probably a very nice guy, however I think we now need to face facts..... We are not winning.... PI seems to think that pulling positives from a game is justification..... Its not. How many teams have been relegated when pundits have said what nice football they played!!! Goals are what count and we are not scoring any! Players want to move.... If relegation comes, who will we have left? All the players who can get us out of this hole will have left and gone elsewhere. The truth is that for some reason players who CAN perform are not doing. Two seasons ago Benni was a top striker. For some reason he now doesnt perform although this last few weeks have shown a glimmer of hope. Our defence is shot at. Two seasons ago we were rock solid, not we leak goals all over the place. Morton plays well one day and crap the next. We need a manager who can bring all these together. We have a team who on paper and on their day can beat anyone. Remember the double over united? Semi Cup finalists? A good run in Europe? What is going wrong? Can we blame PI? I am not sure, cause if you remember the second half of last season, under MH our play was dire. The only reason we survived that was due to brilliant goalkeeping by Brad Friedel. On lots of games last season he alone saved our bacon. So I don't think PI is totally to blame for the players lack of committment/interest. Certainly one difference is what ever happened in the dressing room under MH. They went in at half time and came back out like they had been given a rocket up their backsides..... I dont think PI has that gift. I fail to understand the reason PI plays so many players out of position, or refuses to play some players who have at least more spark about them. Why or why does he insist of playing Matty on the wing?? I understand PI is on a very tight budget and it doesnt seem likely to improve. But surely somehow someway he needs to motivate what we have. Get those players playing like they can. They have bags of tallent in that dressing room, lets use it. As fans I know how hard it is sometimes to sit in that Blackburn end and watch some of the drivel we have paid for, but maybe with some encouragement from us we can play our part in bringing that fire back to Benni, that rock solidity back to our defence and see the sparkle back in MGP's feet...... Lets get behind them instead of on their backs.......... COM'ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!

2PAC 4 Blackburn
How about Sven? i know it's a long shot but he's a free agent.......... Better than BFS and Souness IMO.
