you obviously think that to win games you need to be giving it 100 percent. all a team needs to do is be organised, play ugly football, and take the 3 points. whats so hard about that? lol

so your tellin me that we can get eleven men off this messageboard organise them properly and they would grind out results

Got my support. Mainly because I don't see any sensible alternatives. And he's got the support of the players which is a good sign.

Support of the players??? :lol::lol:

He has fallen out with Roberts, Vogel, Samba (Twice), Peter, Friedel. So I suppose he has the support of them players yeah!

As for 300 out of 3000 members, maybe that should be looked at more objectively. How many of those 3000 have actually been active on the board since the poll has been there?!

I'm for keeping Ince and bringing in short-term a very experienced coach / manager to help him through the crisis.

Like Archie Knox?

I've yet to see anyone give me a single reason to believe that Ince is the man to keep us up.

All I see is airy-fairy metrosexual moisturise 5 times-a-day nonsense about "give him a chance", "be positive", "we've got some easy games coming up".

so this is teh Ince support thread, someone lay out why he should stay.

Whoa! The riggers of being a Rovers fan in the current climate:

- Manager ruining the hard work our prior manager made

- A toothless board who say they are doing the best thing for the club, but are in reality killing the club and ignoring the vast majority of the fans..

- A team paid millions a year playing like a sunday-league pub team

- The prospect of spending christmas in the relegation zone, possibly bottom of the table if people have their way!

- Fans at each others throats with regard to how the club should proceed and petty issues

- The media making sure every little snippet of news about the club is negative... Be it because all the news about the club at the moment is negative or because they want the club to seem negative?

- The prospect of not having any money to spend in the transfer market, after not replacing our right midfielder who we sold the summer before...

Just doesnt get any better does it?!

I disagree a lot of posters on this mb have been against ince from day one, calling for his head when we lost a game in pre season.

I think the majority of this board's members would have backed whoever was the new manager,

but the situation is 16 games gone, next to bottom and a win nowhere in sight.

Question's been posed many times Bryan, although I'm yet to hear a decent answer. Looks like the stock answer given now is the lack of an alternative.

It's nigh on impossible to be positive about BRFC at the moment.

Archie Knox is from the era of Ron Atkinson and Howard Wilkinson.

We need someone far more modern and relevant. Ince and Knox weren't around when big changes were happening in the Premiership (Roman's revolution, use of Pro-Zone, teams moving away from traditional 4-4-2s etc.), I think we desperately need someone who was...and has qualifications to boot.

I don't know how settled the Newcastle management team is, but if they're all on short term deals then Chris Houghton would be a decent one to bring in. There are probably a lot of coaches that fit the bill tbh.

I have just some sort of reply from John Williams for my email to him. A bit generic and nothing new said other than the things said by the board in recent days.

But LD Rover we've just put in a decent stint for the first time in ten games. Even though we got tonked 3-1 it's all about to turn around. Can you not see it?

Sorry for being sarcy, but as you quite rightly say, there's nothing to be positive at all.

I must say I am wholly against Ince for many reasons (as discussed in my previous posts!) but giving Ince time is a very poor decision by the board. i thought they would genuinely have handled this situation much better and in fairness to Ince, he has been treated poorly (if everything is to be believed) as have the fans. We have not deserved such uncertainty and speculation without reaction and they have really let us down.

As much as I do think we'll get relegated under Ince, if he is our manager for the rest of the season and the board have made their minds up then i'm still behind the boys and I still will be behind them in the championship next year. My own position will remain as it was on Saturday - back the team and cheer them on throughout hoping for the best, everything else is just speculation.

personally im having a hard time, seeing ince turn it around..

the reaction from fans in the liverpool game have been discussed, this poll have been discussed, people who want ince out, their opinion have been discussed..

BUT.. what seems to slip through to easy, in this discussion, is the opinion of those, who believe ince will turn it around..

so i ask ONE simple questions:

WHAT GIVES YOU THE IDEA, INCE WILL TURN IT AROUND.??

I don't think it's a case of us Ince fans knowing how he's going to turn it around, it's more of a hope that he does turn it around because we want him to succeed at the club.

I'm a big Paul Ince fan which started from his playing days all the way up to becoming a manager. He's done really well in his last 2 jobs and it's a case of wanting him to do well at Blackburn because he's shown on a smaller scale that he has what it takes to turn teams around in a positive way and go on to play good exciting football.

I guess we just hope he knows what he's doing (despite what everyone else thinks) and he'll know how to turn it around and get results for us.

We are also realistic in knowing that time is running out very fast and if he doesn't show any signs of a victory asap then it's best for the club that he doesn't stay.
