There are two ways out of this.

A short-term manager with guts...and I don't think it will be Sam after working on this one for a little while.

Or a long-term manager who could keep you up or bring you back in better shape.

Once the vacancy is up I might suggest a name or two.

Ince surely will be sacked now. Although listening to him on Sky Sporrts News it appeared that he was confident of surviving until January.

What is he saying?

Usual excuses - he's not had any money to spend, he's had bad injuries, he's disappointed. Said he'll just have to carry on with the players he has - it seemed as though he was suggesting that the squad has found it's natural level at 19th in the league and 6 points from safety.

I just can't believe he's come out and spoken to them. Doesn't exactly suggest he's getting the sack.

I do agree, but for the love of god make the blatently obvious changes we need!!!!

Admit that Robinson was a mistake and side line him

Put Roque in the reserves untill he realises what team he is under contract with

Try someone else on the left as it is very clear we concede on every attack over there

Ince in his SSN interview did not look like he was a man fearful of the sack (he did look like that last week). Either he is living in "cloud cuckoo" land or he was told last week that he has 5 games regardless of results.

If we lose to Stoke we are down and out, or shall we beat Stoke with this fool and then lose the next one or the next. Anyone with half an ounce of intelligence knows that Ince WILL NOT TURN THE CLUB AROUND TO GET CONSISTENTLY POSITIVE RESULTS! Even if we win one game we are still in the dumps...FOR GOOD.

And I do feel like making the knee jerk reaction you suggest, but look what happened last time we did this in 1999. By xmas 00 we were bottom of then 1st div.

Everyone needs time to settle, but he needs to admit to his mistakes and listen to the people who are watching this.

He definately said that on the five live interview.

I have NEVER heard a manager say such a thing.

He's turned around in what was - in my opinion, for what it's worth - a poorer team (collection of players) once before.

I have to agree with that point he did turn round a poorer side. But, although I do not believe he'd come back anyway. But before the players wanted to play for Hughes, but the players today may consider that hughes left after getting them to sign new contracts etc. They may feel betrayed etc by Hughes and therefore not play for him like the did last time.
