One would think this is it for Ince, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the board give him a teensy bit longer. Heck, they might even wait until the January window so Ince can buy a replacement for Bentley (but neglect to mention he'll be coming from Macclesfield).

I've seen enough. I don't have any confidence left in the man anymore. His team selection has been so erratic and unbalanced, and it's not just because of casualties. Pairing Mokoena with Andrews in midfield was suicide. They don't offer anything. Why wasn't Villanueva playing? Why wasn't Vogel playing? You need players who can do something with the ball. Tottenham just pinged it around because we didn't have any threat to push them backwards. This is bloody tactics 101 and Ince can't even figure it out.

Aye let's hope there is an announcement in the coming week about Ince and his bunch of has-been backroom staff being removed completely from Blackburn Rovers, time is of the essence!

I wonder where the "defense coach" was today, was he commentating someplace or watching us capitulate again?

I am dismayed at the situation that the John Williams and the Rover's board have put us in with this nonsense of an appointment, the alarm bells should have been ringing when Robbie Fowler arrived on our doorstep, not too mention the calibre of the back room coaching staff.

I bet when the inevitable does happen Ince and Fowler will be having a right old laugh at our expense, with a nice little earner for all of them...

I'm shocked there has not been more rumblings in the press about his job security.

The horrible truth is mate that the press and many opposition football fans think he is doing a sterling job in sending us to the bottom....they want rid of us from the Prem and unfortunately as long as this p1llock stays they are going to get their wish.

We are paying the price now for no investment in new players not just this summer but for the last 4 or 5 years.

This is what frustrated both Souness and Hughes , with Hughes the players gave 100% almost all the time,the tactics and coaching were all there the players all understood there rolls in the team.

Sadly now with no investment in the team with a poor manager and a diabolical back room staff the result is there for us all to see.

I think its time to part company with Ince and his staff quickly,and get a new man in so he has a chance in the January window.

Ive said this before about the Trustees they have a lot to answear for with Souness to a point but more so with Hughes we were lucky to have very good managers who with very little money managed to make us very competitive in the Premiership .Where has all the money gone JW and the anonymous Trustees.

I would imagine a fair proportion of that 38% are starting to change over...

This is even worse than under Souness. Things were bleak at the first part of that season under Souness before he left but we knew at least that we were under an experienced manager who had got us promoted, got us into Europe and won the League Cup. Maybe things would've got better under him eventually, maybe they would've got worse.

Under Ince we don't even have that security. His inexperience and lack of ideas is there for all to see. Personally I don't think he'll ever make a good manager.

Battling performance? Against a Spurs team who I thought didnt get into 3rd or 4th gear, and thats being kind!

We were down by a man and didnt change anything around to take the game to them...We didnt even throw men forward.

I cant see how JW will keep him in charge for much longer, and thats why I think we give the new man as much time as possible by getting rid now.

A loss to Pompey with an expected clattering at home against the Scousers will see some ugly scenes inside and outside Ewood...very sad to say but mark my words.

If protests etc were done outside Ewood Park they would be moved on by the Police. Protests via local papers, petitions maybe via this website. and no one is likely to be arrested for, whats the excuse the Police etc use today, causing a public nuiance etc

So get a petition going on this board, inform local media about it, the nationals would pick it up and if the board DO LISTEN TO THE SUPPORTERS, then Ince is gone.

But who are the available replacements for Ince. Available so Rovers would not have to compensate another club for their manager.

When we sold Bentley, Friedel and hired Ince the relagetion papers where officially signed. I think people should understand (no matter how depressing it is) that Blackburn Rovers are a organisation with no ambition of being in the top flight of english football. Its just a fact of life.

Its not a 'fact of life' at all Krislu but the good people in charge at Ewood need to hold their hands up and admit that mistakes have been made,nobody is perfect and nobody is infallible.....there is still time to make ammends and correct this mess.

Totally agree this comes from the board, its not even JW fault he being told what to do from the owners. Bolton and Wigan have spent more money then we have, it’s a disgrace the way this clubs going. THE CLUB IS DEAD from the top down and if its true that’s there no money in January for Big Sam to spend then he going to have a harder job keeping us in this league.

Time for the clown Ince to go we have seen this coming since the transfer window not signing a Bentley replacement and thinking Bret can do the job on his own, Bringing Fowler was the biggest joke EVER and now Jansen could get a contract who next john Barnes.

Ince has got to go!!! He needs his P45 delivered personally to his front-door ASAP, we are going down without a fight. I am not even going to bother going over every reason why we need to get rid, its been mentioned by nearly every poster on here for the last few weeks. The board also need to take a hard look at each other and think about their own positions as well, we need investment and they need to admit that they went for the cheaper option in Ince and that is has backfired greatly. As much as i were against Sam Allardyce over the summer, i would have to man leading the team anyday now. I may not favour his tactics but he knows how to win football games and how to get the best out of people. Most of all, he would have the respect of the dressing room, something i really doubt Ince has at the moment. Big Sam is the answer and if JW cannot see this, he needs to receive his P45 at the same time as we are going down faster than a prostitutes knickers on a busy Friday night.
