Majiball - when Rovers crowd turn, they turn. Believe me. It's been years of course but the scenes at the end of Bob Saxton's reign weren't good. Can anyone remember bonfires on the Blackburn End, protesting on Nuttall St after the match (I can vaguely)? Hostile stuff. Managers since then have had it easy - for obvious reasons in most cases.

Really??? I remember reading about protests but never thought it went that far!!! I wonder who will snap first the fans or the board if things don't improve? Protests like that this time, well I'd worry the media would put a slant on it all, like that preposterous article in the mirror.

God he can talk some crap. We started off not bad, great victory at Everton, 1 or2 draws and then we won 3 games against Premiership teams in one week. That was 2 months ago? Since then we have been in freefall.

Ince calls it "progress". This bloke could spin for England.

They are the words of a man seriously under pressure.

He is in deflection mode, ignoring the reality of our situation anf fighting a long losing battle.

He isnt winning the fans over, or at least 60% of them, crowds are diminishing at the thought of watching dross after dross and his comments in the media are either misguided or the words of a fool.

I would love it if he turned us into a footballing team and I would love to see him succeed. The reality is is that the Rovers situation came far too early for him. BRFC is a much bigger club than people imagine, its got its low crowd but we have been there and beaten the best and there will be a time when we beat the best again, it just wont be with Ince at the helm.

Guys - just to clarify, those quotes in my post relate to an article on Sammy Lee last season (if you click on the link you can read the article).

I see a lot of similarities in the situation we currently find ourselves in.

By the way, what is this all about, seen nothing reported: Rovers' preparations for Sunday's trip to Portsmouth have been disrupted by training-ground rows, but Warnock says it is only because the players are passionate about improving.

if JW doesnt sort this ###### out, then i hope the fans will make themselves heard somehow. if we lose to pompey and ince is still in charge against liverpool, then i hope the fans dont turn up for the game. its just rubbish that he is allowed to continue, so he should rather just shut up and leave.

Why oh why are rovers fans turning against their manager and team, we should be 100% behind them at a time of crisis. I do believe that some are watching with blinkers. At times the football has been a lot better this season than last. I despaired going to Ewood at times last season as I knew I would not see a meanigful forward pass and that we would just give the ball to Bentley and hope for a good cross and Santa to score. I will always give my support to good passing football and understand that confidence is an issue for us. 1 good win and we could easily be pushing forward. e have been shorn of our best midfielders this season so far and I look forward to seeing how we do when Dunny and Grella get together. Pedersen is showing signs of recovery but needs that lucky goal to spark. Come on you blues

I wonder what the attitude would be if we tonked Portsmouth and won the next game? Unlikely given our current form and the general atmosphere, but interesting to ponder.

RE Dingles staying Down: Yes the Whammers have been poop since Clarke joined, but he was at Chelsea with Grant, Mourinho and possibly Ranieri. If he was crap, he'd have been kicked out by one of these guys for a someone else. I can't think of any other quality assistant managers with experience who could theoreticaly have helped Ince.

RE Riverside Return: I think you are hoping against hope with that plea. It's already too late for a great number of people.

I hope you're looking forward to us being one of the most entertaining sides in the Championship then.

They did not spend long discussing it, but fairly interesting chat on Ince on Soccer Saturday. Basically, saying Ince needs to be given time. Jeff Stelling was quoting Matt Dickinson's article in the Times this week (about comparison with John Barnes).

They came to the conclusion that a job in the Premiership possibly may have come too soon for Ince, but Blackburn have made their bed, so must lie in it.

Why am I not surprised that stories about rows are finally emerging?

The formula now is quite simple:

Including tomorow, 24 games are left and the way this league is going we need to win 9 of them with 5 against the BIG 4 included in the mix. Looking at this afternoon's games, things are tightening appreciably and grinding out wins is going to be very difficult (unless you are playing against Sunderland- oops)

Are we confident Ince can get 9 more league wins this season?

A very firm Yes is the only answer which allows him to keep his job.

I haven't heard anything about rows - infact the opposite.

The Sky article in full so I don't get accused of selected editing:

Blackburn defender Stephen Warnock admits training ground bust-ups are a part of life at Ewood Park but he believes it makes the team stronger.

Rovers' preparations for Sunday's trip to Portsmouth have been disrupted by training-ground rows, but Warnock says it is only because the players are passionate about improving.

William Gallas was criticised for lifting the lid on what happens at Arsenal, but Warnock says he would not have it any other way.

Warnock told the Daily Express: "I don't think it would be a training ground if there weren't bust-ups. It's part and parcel of football and it shows people you care.

"If you don't care you don't have arguments. You've got to have them to set things right and get things out in the open.

"That's how you make the team better and make the team stronger."

Warnock says the arguments are forgotten immediately and he believes that with so many experienced internationals in the squad, there will always be disagreements and constructive criticism.

Warnock admits the players expect better from each other and he says they refuse to sit back and accept what is happening.

"It won't stop because there are too many strong players within the squad. It's important that the lads stick together."

We have some remarkably bad players and the only way we will stay in the league is with a manager who can work out a way to get points with the team we have.

Ince from what I have seen is not that man.

So it's a new manager or it's the end.

Well read the link- Warnock has spilled the beans that they are happening all the time and have been a constant feature of Ince's tenure.

I think you missed the crucial parts of Warnock's message that they are happening all the time at all clubs and are beneficial.

"I don't think it would be a training ground if there weren't bust-ups. It's part and parcel of football and it shows people you care."

Or of course he could just be yet another stooge being cattle-prodded by the evil Paul Agnew to prop up a despicable regime. Thank goodness we have your source for the real picture...

Ah okay, hadn't read that one. Still not sure what to make of it, there's probably a large element of truth there and he's been probably the most enthusiastic of all our players publicly.

Sorry tgm, that article has been written with a very positive spin on it. I fear it could be the start of the lid really being blown off Paul Ince's Rovers by the media.

At which point does Warnock say - we never had arguments when Hughes was in charge ?
