LeChuck Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I'm not sure why Williams himself is absolved from this. He has let everyone down by taking such a huge risk on someone obviously not capable of doing the job, his blatant disregard for the coaching qualifications should have sent alarm bells ringing immediately. Williams has to get the next appointment right and restore his reputation, otherwise he's just as useless to us as Ince currently is.

Mr Creosote Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Yet you refer to others as "pathetic t0ssers". Lovely. I will back Allardyce and continue to support Rovers. Can you find where I said I wouldn't? Think before posting.
tony gale's mic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Yet you refer to others as "pathetic t0ssers". Lovely. Indeed. The sheer pig-headedness of some of our fans regarding Allardyce is unbelievable. I wouldn't blame Zulu for going back to his Trotters forum and having a good old laugh at us. WE ARE NOT A BIG CLUB. WE DO NOT HAVE A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO WATCH BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL. WE DO NOT HAVE A TRADITION OF BEAUTIFUL FREE FLOWING FOOTBALL AT EWOOD. THERE ARE NO MANAGERS WHO WOULD COME TO US WHO COULD GIVE US PRETTY FOOTBALL AND SUCCESS.
ABBEY Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Do you HONESTLY think we should give him until January?! or trust him to pick the REQUIRED PERSONELL
Hi Mack Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 But were playing good football..........................so some one keeps telling me! INCE OUT
MarkBRFC71 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Ince needs to sign four or five good Premier League players in the January window, let's hope the board backs him fully, the alternative will be relegation. If I was the board I wouldn't trust him with his bus fare home. He should be nowhere near Rovers in January - we need to get a manager in who can find players to keep us in the Premiership, and who can retain our best players. Thanks to Ince and his backroom clowns, that's the bleak situation we're in.
Dunnfc Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Get him out!!! He's not good enough we've took a gamble and lost lets leave it at that and put up a fight with either Roberto Martinez, Big Sam or Raddy Antic or Steve Coppell.
Wiggy Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I'm not sure why Williams himself is absolved from this. It was a stupid risk in the first place. The names interested in the first place Laudrup, Ten Cate et al wouldn't touch us with a barge pole now. It's time for the anti BFS brigade to realise we will be very lucky to get him.
tashor Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Ince maintains he will stick to his principles and has no intention of changing Blackburn's style in order to get them out of their current rut. "People say win ugly but I've always played in footballing sides and I don't think you should change how you play," he added. " My philosophy on football will never change." It looks like our desire to appoint a manager who plays the beautiful game is going to cost us our status as a small club playing with the big boys. It will take the likes of Big Sam to save us now but will our spoilt messageboard warriors eat their ill advised words of hate which stopped our club making the correct appointment in the first place? We have one chance to get it right and give us a shot of staying up. It will not be pretty but our direction must change and change now. The "king" is dead! Long live the king......... INCE OUT NOW
T4E Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I will back Allardyce and continue to support Rovers. Can you find where I said I wouldn't? Think before posting. Ditto. Everyone on this board has fully supported Rovers throughout this ###### poor experiment, yet they've been accused of doing otherwise. You have a problem with Allardyce based on a pre-conceived notion that you've fully admitted you would not change your mind about no matter how well he did for us. If that's support I suggest Mr Allardyce/Blackburn Rovers wouldn't much care what you decide to do.
vyeo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 The noose has tightened around Ince's neck. The situation at the club is untenable. While the chairman has appeared reluctant to intervene, the current spectacular losing run must surely force his hand. To BFS' doubters - in June, we were seventh in the best league in the world. Myself and many others wanted HTC or Laudrup, because they appeared to be the best candidates to help us push on in Europe, to give us a pedigree that we did not have. Move forward six months, we're 19th. We've gone nine games without a win, we're in deep trouble. The situation has changed. Under this new set of circumstances, BFS represents our best hope. I'm not sorry that I was part of the facebook posse in June who did not want BFS. But my opinion has now changed. It has to be BFS in, and the faster that happens, the higher our chance of staying up.

Brfcrule1 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 have to agree after today's debacle and after what Ince says he will never do anything but continue playing free flowing attacking footballhe needs to be reminded sometimes you have to win ugly sometimes you have to dig out the 1-0 wins in this league just to get a result and sometimes you need to play 4-5-1 in certain situations. get rid asap the sooner the better Big Sam SOS.
Amo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Funnily enough I found someone who still thinks Ince should be in a job. Apparently we were "unlucky" to lose, "played some good stuff", and it was all down to "individual mistakes". We're gonna "turn it around in the next game". How many defeats does it take to convince some people?
tony gale's mic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 As someone who has been against Ince from the start I don't think there's any need for finger pointing and points scoring. Yes certain posters were out of line in claiming that we wanted Ince to fail, it was an affront to anyone who's passionate about our Club. But we need to have a united front here, I haven't seen a single poster after the Portsmouth game say Ince should have any more time in the job.
Sysagent Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I think they should re-run the poll again now to see what the results would be like... ;-)
CrazyIvan Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Times up. Sorry Ince but you're just not good enough.
Lurid Coat Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Funnily enough I found someone who still thinks Ince should be in a job. Apparently we were "unlucky" to lose, "played some good stuff", and it was all down to "individual mistakes". We're gonna "turn it around in the next game". How many defeats does it take to convince some people? Funnily enough, that one person was in fact Paul Ince himself. At least I bet those are the excuses he will use in the post match interviews.

Apparently we were "unlucky" to lose, "played some good stuff", and it was all down to "individual mistakes". We're gonna "turn it around in the next game". How many defeats does it take to convince some people? 1 more. And I believe that one would be at the time we are playing with liverpool
oozy Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Is there any way the poll can be restarted to gauge the current feeling? Im sure it'd be closer to 90% wanting him out
Karembeu Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Hate to be a negative person but I guess times up for him. As a manager, you just can't keep blaming on your luck. I do believe we had enough player to pull us through but the manager is really not doing the job at all. 9 league game without a win say a lot. Esp when last year we are happily fighting for uefa placing....
