Paul Ince must go as soon as possible

The players seem to have no confidence in him.

The fans have no confidence in him

Any possible good new signings will not have confidence in him and therefore will not sign,

He thinks tactics are little minty sweets in a plastic dispenser

The further we sink ,the harder it will be to attract any new good manager and players

The more desperate we get ,the less chance we have of holding on to the decent players we do have.

Our players have not become rubbish they have been coached by rubbish and they can do a job for us with the right managerial imput.

Paul Ince has had more than long enough to convince me that he is simply out of his depth. There are no signs to suggest that he can improve our position, quite the opposite in fact.

Whilst he was not my first choice, I admit that I preferred him to BFS.This was snobbery on my part. Sam as our manager would do nothing to brush away the image with which we as a small northern team are tarnished by the media. I wanted a high flying, bold statement of intent by the board .

In fact maybe BFS is the right guy, unfashionable ,seemingly unloved-or why despite his reasonable record is still without a job, but a decent hardworking manager.

Hopefully he is also not one to bear a grudge and can see fit to save our club from the inadequacies of Paul Ince.

Ince "We did it at Pompey last week and we did it again today. And yet we've come here and got three goals at Old Trafford so we're scoring goals just not keeping them out."

What a prick. We scored 3 against a team that were comfortable and thought they were home and dry, also those goals came against Foster, Evans, Neville, Rafael & O'shea. Not exactly world class!!

We are poor all over the park at the moment. Only person to come out of last night was Benni. 2 goals and 1 assist in 45 minutes.

The man at the helm needs to check the history book this morning as seasons ending with 9 are not a good omen in recent times.

1978 - 79 JIM ILEY

1998 - 99 BRIAN KIDD

Don't let 2008 - 2009 be the added to those statistics as the season that the Rovers went down like the Titanic after hitting the Inceberg.

You stick 6 men up fron't you score goals. Hey who cares what happens at the other end! Benni looked lazy but good when the ball was their. I'd play him up front on his own and shut up shot - he'll get more goals that RSC but won't contribute much else. A few 0-0 1-0's would be nice now. Sick of this fast free flowing exciting football now anyway!

What exactly is JW's email address?

Might as well join the bandwagon.

Hopefully, if he gets enough e-mails, it'll make him see the light

Never mind email.

Get down on Saturday and let him know in person.

We managed to get rid of managers for 100 years without emailing MD's.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. The chump on SSN last night stated at least 3 times that we got beat at Old Trafford 2-0 two weeks ago. There's me thinking it was at Ewood on October 4th. Not only that but the penalty we conceeded was given away by Malloy (?!). Malloy / Ooijer - basically the same name really.

And he also said that Wayne Andrews wouldn't be playing as he is cup-tied? That and the fact that we don't have anyone called Wayne Andrews!

Another one. Why on earth where you?

and another....

and another...

All bravely owning up to a mistake. Well done but can any of you give me a solid reason other than collective euphoria / blind misplaced optimism? :rover:

The reason I was prepared to give Ince a chance was because what he was able to do at other clubs, his own premier experience. Hoped he could have learnt something from AF - but obviously he hasn't. I was never over excited about his appointment, just willing to give him a chance to see what he could do. It could have been a good appointment, but we would not have known for sure until you give a person a chance first. Hughes had never managed a premiership club, nor had Kidd, Tony Parkes. But every manager has to start somewhere. Prior to Ince people were saying to appoint Billic, but he also has no experience as a manager in the prem.

It has been shown that Ince is not up to the task. He has had his chance and now should be given his P45.

But who would you want as a manager of rovers and WHY would you pick that person.

Owen Coyle. He is doing a great job at Burnley - stealing him would be fantastic.

Would that not be doing the same as appointing Ince? Coyle doing well at a lower league side, as did Ince. Ok I think Coyle could do a better job than Ince. But Coyle also has no prem experience.

Dear John,

Time to put your cards on the table. Go to the trustees and say we need to have a change. This cheaper option has not worked out one bit. I am asking the trust to release substantial funds in the memory of Jack to save his beleagured club. It's obvious we have to change the manager now and won't attract a top quality one unless we have a transfer kitty. You backed us with £14m for Grabbi and Cole when we really needed a top class striker and now we need the same level of backing again. The no cost option is not an option any more. Tell them the club will follow Southampton and Leeds into oblivion without this support and then tell them wthout this support you will have no option but to hand them your resignation.

Then I'll send it!

I wouldn't send it and I wouldn't remind em either! :o

The thought of blowing 14m on the likes of those two would surely fill the trustees with dread! We'd be down anyway and 14m lighter. Just imagine what Hughes (and to an extent Allardyce) could do with that sort of dosh!

I agree. Coyle seems to be doing a fantastic job, but really we need someone who knows what they are doing in the Prem. Only real candidate is Allerdyce unless I have missed anyone.

anyone with experience as a manager now, anyone that clearly knows when your shipping 3,4 or 5 goals weekly that extoling the virtues of pretty football is the last thing a fan cares about, someone who will park a bus on the goalline against the big clubs and not take them on thinking they are our equels, someone with the balls to drop past it players Someone who inspires at half time.

We are not out of touch just yet but we need the new guy in NOW, the amount of ink wasted in the nationals today about inces janurary targets is embarrassing considering he has'nt a prayer of making it to christmas.

There seem to be suggestions that keane may walk on sunderland today which would start the manergerial merry go round and may hasten our board to act and compete with whom ever sunderland may target i.e. allaryce.

I was quite pleased when Ince was appointed, he seemed like a better choice then all the others that were rumoured to be in the running. McLaren and Allardyce might have done a better job but we will never know, might actually been worse if thats a possibility.

After last nights game i am totally behind sacking Ince and all of his staff, first thing yesterday that got to me was at halftime when he replaced Emerton with McCarthy. Not that its bad to bring on Benni but to shift over Mokoena as right back when Emerton was an option is just plain stupid, Emerton IMO was one of the better players in the first half and is so much better than Mokoena. The next impressive thing with Ince was the introduction of Fowler, when trailing against United and the match seems lost why bring on someone like Fowler? Leaving Judge,Carlos and Roberts on the bench, put Derbs where is supposed to play, STRIKER!!, and bring on Judge or Carlos on the wing. We finished the game yesterday with a def.midfielder as rightback, a leftback in centremid and a striker on the wing.

SACK,SACK and SACK.

Ha ha. I'm loving football at the moment.

Anyhow, Owen fancies managing in the Prem next year. Kind of rules you guys out, don't you think.
