dopper69
BFS is the favourite with the bookies already. I think BFS would suit Sunderland TBH.

Bobby G
Depressing if Big Sam goes there...We would be left with a nobody, or with Curbishley...
Paul
Have to agree with den, if Allardyce goes to Sunderland it's hard to know what we should do. If Williams is thinking of removing Ince he really does need to get on with it now.
rovers_rob
I think BFS would suit Sunderland TBH. I don't think the sunderland fans would be to happy about getting an ex Newcastle manager.
den
Depressing if Big Sam goes there...We would be left with a nobody, or with Curbishley... [desperate]Thing is, no doubt the Mackems were revelling in the Geordies plight under Sam. Now where does that leave the Mackem fans and Big Sam? Facebook maybe?[/desperate]

Tyrone Shoelaces
Bad planning that den! Get Coyle in and bugger up the dingles in the process! There's no chance. Coyle's doing well and he's on the way up why would he want to take over the shambles that is Rovers at present. Beginning of the season we would have had a chance but not now. Tyrone Shoelaces
anyone for keane? Not really but he'd be better than Ince. Can't see him jumping straight back in at another club at the moment. We need a steady hand at the tiller. We need to move quickly now, we've wasted at least two weeks.

Rovermatt
I would be vaguely in favour of Keane. Aside from his dubious transfer activity (Andy Reid enyone?) he had Sunderland playing well last season.

Aside from his dubious transfer activity (Andy Reid enyone?) he had Sunderland playing well last season. Your mental. He spent 80m quid. Boutght quite a lot of crap players. Bought a few good ones. Can't even get what is quite a decent team playing well. Would be the worst appointment ever. If we can't get BFS we are going to have to make a creative choice. I don't know what that is. There isn't anyone else tailored made for our situation so it will be a gamble.

Sorry mate, can't cheer you up, you are too negative, you will just have to live with it ok, then, just make a quick comparison on the following, turn over, status, facilities, current players, supporters that don't set the wife on fire when you loose a few games! Do you think he could stop ours? I don't. As I said he'll want a break from football , We need somebody who's up for the fight Keane looks burnt out at present just like Ince. Big Sam would be the best option or maybe an old head like Mick McCarthy but why would he leave Wolves for us ?

leftfooter
"I ask myself every day if I'm the right man for Sunderland," after the defeat. "I asked myself this morning, and I said I was. Sunday morning, if the answer's no, we'll have to look at it." Got to admire Keane's honesty with himself and the Mackems. I just cannot imagine the arrogant, inflexible incumbent at Ewood so honestly assessing his own failings and accepting any personal responsibility in such an honourable manner.
