RibbleValleyRover
I do worry about bringing back Souness after what happened towards the end. Most were pleased that he left... Surely if Ince is out, we should enquire as to whether Owen Coyle would be interested in a jump to the Premier League... For me, bringing back Souness who has been out of the game for 2 years is a bigger risk then Big Sam! Can't see Coyle being interested. I know i will get slated for saying this but they have a great chance of actually getting promoted this season. I hope to god it doesn't happen but it would not surprise me if they did. Rover Down Under
Whingers, critics, moaners and others please read this quote carefully and repeat many times on the way to and at todays and future games: "The lads need the fans more than anything. It's hard for me, hard for them, but we have to stick together. If you don't support the lads then there is only way you can go."

roverfanuk
He said Spurs and Newcastle were within points of us, and that nobody was getting on their backs? Is he kidding!? One of the main reasons Ramos left was because everyone was against him, including the fans, media and team itself. As for Newcastle, again is he kidding, their was almost mass suicide outside St James' Park when he left!
Guest Kamy100
Allegedly the story is that Board decided to fire Ince on Thursday but decided to leave it until after the Liverpool match. They decided to sack him after the players gave JW chapter and verse after the United game leaving JW with zero choice. JW called Bolton to check on BFS's current thinking today- that has reached the dailies. He compounded it by ringing SUNDERLAND and asking if they are going for BFS and telling them that Souness/Tugay is Rovers' fall back if they take BFS. It is going to be a very long 24 hours. Drummer Boy
Whingers, critics, moaners and others please read this quote carefully and repeat many times on the way to and at todays and future games: "The lads need the fans more than anything. It's hard for me, hard for them, but we have to stick together. If you don't support the lads then there is only way you can go." Absolutely on the button that man!! Having said that, the next six or seven games will determine whether we are in the market for a new management team IMO. If that proves to be the case, the management team at Blackpool could be worth pondering - a certain Mr. Parkes is doing well with them alongside Grayson who really has achieved wonders by the seaside. Big Sam will be on Wearside and unavailable by then.
Presty On Tour
There is going to be something pretty revealing and explosive in a few papers in the morning. For obvious reasons I can't go into more detail. But tomorrow is going to be an interesting day. Ince and players in mass punch up?
roversmum
I would NEVER be anything than wholly supportive of those in the blue and white shirt out on the field - and that includes Mr Fowler of whom I have made my feelings clear previously. As far as I know most Blackburn Rovers supporters are of similar ilk.

RibbleValleyRover
Perhaps Souness is being sought after in the same way that Kinnear was, a short term contract to try and keep us up this season? I honestly don't think Souness is the answer. Everyone knows overall he was decent for us, winning the league cup and getting us promoted but it went sour at the end. I just think it would be a huge gamble, either his abrasive personality will either keep us up, or consign us to relegation. I fear if he rubs certain players up the wrong way, therefore causing some serious disharmony we will go down.
den
These stories make Ince's position untenable immediately - unless rovers deny them in the morning. Ince can't possibly be in charge tomorrow, can he?

SouthAussieRover
Alan's take on the story Put Janice on suicide watch!! For the sake of Rovers get rid of Ince before the Liverpool game. Get a senior pro to arrange the team for the match.
den
Souness is reported as being here until the end of the season. If Ince goes, the options at the moment are minimal. No point wanting Ince out guys, - then complaining about the temp replacement.
Exiled in Toronto
These stories make Ince's position untenable immediately - unless rovers deny them in the morning. Ince can't possibly be in charge tomorrow, can he? Another HR triumph to go alongside Parkes learning of his sacking via the back page of the Sun. It's either sack him first thing in the morning or come out and give him full support. However, I suspect a deafening silence and another disorganised tonking. I like the Souey idea as long as it's for this season only with a fat keep us up bonus. Then look for something more long term, maybe with Souey taking that Swansea bloke under his wing. dingles staying down 4ever
How the chuffing hell have Rovers managed to make a mess of sacking Ince? Under no circumstances should Ince be allowed anywhere near Ewood if these stories are true.

Keep the faith Dennis.....bloody hard mind you !! If the temp is the same Souness who resued from the dark side previously it will be a superb appointment. If it is the one who came close to returning us there....then we are in trouble.
