Santa Cruz will surely be off in January, we can't expect a player like him to stay around if this is the kind of service he gets.

He's looked really poor today through no fault of his own, he must be incredibly frustrated.

Good God talk about us going into self destruct here, what on Earth is in the minds of the Rover's players?

You don't think this is some form of subliminal protest on behalf of the players to get rid of Ince and his cronies?

I wasnt going to come back on but taking McCarthy off and leaving Andrews on is astounding.

I know we are 10 men but surely the sub should have been Tugay for Andrews. We are now going to struggle for the next 29 minutes until they score again.

INCE's time is OVER

1. The bentley point is redundant. Of course Ince wanted to sign a RW. we had Pennant in the bag until the last few hours.

2. Emerton a, has been injured. and b, has done well enough on the right to replace Bentley

3. Villanueva is not a cm he plays just off the front man. Vogel is a only fair point. god knows where he is.

Did we have Pennant in the bag? I'm pretty sure we never had him anywhere near in the bag, there was repeated talk of him but I remember deadline day having hardly any prospects. Additionally I remember nicko mentioning pretty early on that Ince's plan was to stick with Emerton on the right, we sniffed around Pennant but that was all.

Emerton isn't injured in this game though, and he hasn't done well enough on the right to replace Bentley. He's done alright but I'd much rather have him playing at right back.

And I take your point about Carlos but he could have at least added some creativity in there, Ince seems to have no problems playing people out of position - Carlos himself has been on the right a few times this season.

with andrews its like playing with 9 men, he is crap.

replacing him would have still been a good option, even with a defender having been sent off.

We crave creativity and as you can see RSC is ALONE up front with no support AGain.

WE ARE LOSING AND NEED TO SCORE, WITH 1 FORWARD THATS NOT LIKELY

How is taking a midfielder off for a midfielder going to solve the gap at Left Back?

Mokoena has been worse than Andrews anyway, you just don't like the guy and never give him a chance.

He played a Tugayesque pass a few minutes ago but obviously Mokoena trots those out all day.

In all fairness they are both Div 2 players at best

we are losing the game, we need to score not defend. By turning the game to our favour it puts spuds on the back foot.

The switch around in defence wouldnt matter really would it as we need to score and we aint gonna do so with RSC on his own.

Thats my point.

As for Andrews, I would have given him all the support required but it is MY opinion that he is NOT a Premiership midfielder, never will be and thats about it.

How far out of his depth does he have to go before you realise that one ?

Tugayesque pass ? get a grip man it was a simple ball thats all.

Doing it continually, game after game yes I would sday Tugayesque but one pass in 500 DREAM ON

It's a poor state of affairs when we have to rely on a 38yr old midfielder to try and pull us out of the mire ain't it...

It is a poor state of affairs when a 38 year old is our best available centre midfielder but he doesn't get played!

Where is he?? Get him on!

i now accept my team is crap and i expect to lose week in week out! I find this works wonders for my nerves when watching a game with no expectations and embracing relegation as an inevitability.
