We are a rudderless ship - no creativity, no leadership, no ability. Our players can't pass to each other, our defenders can't, well, defend and our impressive strikers get no service whatsoever.

Spurs are a poor side but we made them look like Real Madrid. This is truly desperate stuff and only appropriately desperate measures can even come close to righting it. What's most infuriating is that the majority of people on here (and by extension, I'm sure, the majority of the wider supporter base) have seen this situation developing almost in slow motion. Yet the club has cracked on with policies that will only lead to ruin. Ince has to go and we have to spend in January. It's as simple as that.

So how do you explain the lack of passing ?

The lack of creativity ?

The lack of goalscoring chances ?

The poor defending ?

The lack of picking the second ball in attack and defence ?

The lack of protection for Olsson ?

That all comes under the term WORKRATE and today Rovers havent had anything positive to come out of this game with exception that the goal difference hasnt taken a battering because of a poor Spurs team being the opposition.

Be honest AGGY, Rovers are a pale shadow of the team that finished last season.

Is it the fans fault ?

is it the teams fault ?

or

Is it the managements fault ?

All of the above are questions that MUST be answered, do I know the answers? No, Ince should and Williams should be asking Ince these questions because the table does NOT lie, cant score goals, cant create goals, cant defend, back to basics, forget quality football, we need gritty "3 points" football

We have had one up front because of Olsson, he made some silly decisions and it has cost us today. We look bereft of confidence. Until we went down to 10, we were the better team.

I'm logging off for a few days, I'm sure the anti-Ince bunch will be whooping and cheering and making Ince Out threads. At the end of the day, individual errors cost us today, from both the manager (who should have brought Tugay on for Mokoena earlier on) and every single one of the players bar Robinson.

Well, there we have it. Another game, another miserable defeat. The lack of quality and organisation has been laid bare for all to see.

My individual ratings:

Robinson 6/10 - Didn't have much to do considering Tottenham's dominance.

Ooijer 6/10

Nelsen 6/10

Samba 6/10

Olsson 3/10

Emerton 5/10

Andrews 4/10

Mokoena 4/10

Pedersen 4/10

McCarthy 4/10

Santa Cruz 5/10

Subs:

Simpson 5/10 - Worked hard but awkward at left-back.

Derbyshire --

Treacy --

1 poor performance cost us today. Martin Olsson.

A bad decision not to clear it cost us the goal.

3 bad tackles within 10mins and he was a gone.

We had our chances, Rocky and Benni both should have scored with their efforts from 5 yards out. A decent rear guard action that kept us in the game and almost saw us come away with a point.

Personally I don't think Ince is doing a bad job, but he may just be an unlucky manager. I think he has 2 league games to get a win, Pompey and Liverpool, not the easiest games.

Id like to see Ince use the red card excuse. We were arguably worse before the red.

No strategy, no ideas to come into the game. Cant remember two passing movements towards their box.

MGP was absolutely rubbish. How many times is he gonna hit the first man?

They couldve given us 180 more minutes, and we couldnt even hit a shot on target I think.

I dont have problems with losing if we play well, and I can accept some bad performances and saying get behind the manager but I cant be happy when I see NO STRATEGY during the match. I havent seen Ince ONCE turn the circumstances of a match around with tactical or strategic decisions yet. Its as if he is waiting to see what will happen.

Sickened...

That performance was reminiscent of our relegation season. Did we even get one cross in all game from open play? Did we even get one shot on target? The mood around the club, amongst the players, all spell doom and gloom.

The television images of Ince today sums him up - standing alone, scowling, spitting. He looked like a cornered, angry rat, with clearly no idea what to do to get himself out of the corner. Ince needs to go. NOW. 17th place is now our official target for this season.

For christ sake - you still don't get it do you?! No one is happy about this situation - NO ONE. How you could even think that people will be pleased about this is beyond me. Ince has to go - I was all for giving him until the Stoke game, on the proviso that we showed an immediate improvement and reason to believe. If anything, we've just witnessed one of the worst performances not just of this season but any recent season.

You seem to think that there are people on here that hate Paul Ince more than they love BRFC. You've lost the plot, big time.

Blackburn have been heading this way for a while, since the days of jack walker have gone we have nobod in the hierachy of the club who actually lives for blackburn. what we have at the moment is club officials who want to save money at every opportunity, and will never put the money they recieve back in to buying payers. mark hughes did a fantastic job of getting cheap players that were premieship class, our management at the moment seem to be getting cheap players, end of. andrews, fowler, jansen training. its just embarassing. if the club wants to move forward JW and othe oficials have to realise that the club needs money pumping in to it, before it gets relegated, they have to get rid of ince, buy some quality playes in (if we can convince them), and however much that costs it needs to be done now. today the players showed no fight, no battle and no evidence that the can get out of this pedicement. but nwould relegation be a bad thing? well it would save money -_-

Of course he has T4E... I mean every supporter wants to see their club lose, just to jump on the back of Ince?!?..

Nope. We aren't picking up points but we're not awful, apart from the second half against Sunderland.

We are not taking our chances. We had 2 chances in that game which should have been buried!

Btw for all those who didn't want us to sign Lennon in the summer, what do you think now?

I had enought loggin off final comments INCE OUT - BIG FAT SAM IN PRONTO

I'll second that. Ince is clueless. After the first booking he should have restructured to offer some protection to Olson but didn't, he's persisted with Andrews when surely it would have been better taking him off, bringing Tugay on and moving the Axe across.

However, Jenas should have gone, if he'd had a Rovers shirt on he would have done.

Where does MGP practice his free kicks at the moment, in a greenhouse?

Looks like Deepdale and Turf Moor are beckoning!

The problem we have now, is that if we sack Paul Ince as we SHOULD do. The new manager we bring in is not going to have had time to compile a list of players we should be targeting for the January Transfer Window. Much the same as Ince's excuse during the summer.

In my opinion, the answer to this problem is bringing in somebody experienced like Alan Curbishley. He has experience in the league to know what players are worth keeping and worth selling and worth buying...

Their is no doubt that our squad is lacking, it has no teeth.

We need signings, and we need a manager who knows what he is doing!

One catastrophic error from Olsson was all that cost us that game. Ok, you could say they would have scored sooner or later anyway but Olsson lost us that game.

I have tried to stay positive and tried to give Ince time before joining in with the slating of him but there have been too many defeats, too many disgraceful performances and after that pile of #### today we need better. No creativity, no pace, no pressure on the ball, no passing, no quality...the list is endless. Ince has to go before it is too late. A couple of decent wins and we could be away from trouble (for now anyway) but I don't see how we are going to win games with Ince. His tactics and selection on occasions (too many probably) beggar belief, like today having Andrews and Mokoena in the middle and allowing them to play the full 90 minutes. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but if anyone who signed that petition saying no to BFS knew how Ince was going to turn out and see how (please don't use that word again) we were going to become, they would not have signed it. New managers need to be looked at and lets just hope Sam doesn't bear any grudges.

Robinson is going to have a very easy time winning player of the season at this rate. He is the only one who can hold his head high and still has some respectability.
