He simply doesn't look like he knows how to change things around when necessary.

Can't believe how naieve he was today.

We didn't have a star studded subs bench though, did we. That must have been as bad a bench as we've had for years. A sure sign of how weak the squad is.

Another weekend ruined. I swear my blood pressure is at an unhealthy level.

What is worrying me most is our lack of ideas going forward. I don't think a few January signings will sort us out. We are devoid of any invention which will ultimately lead to RSC and McCarthy leaving. They say if you are to stay up you need two good strikers. Well we do have that. But they're wasted. If we could start to supply to them then we might be ok. But the players we're looking at will not help our cause.

If we're to stay up we need to make experienced premier league signings. No two ways about it. We can ill afford anyone coming in and taking two months to get up to speed. The same goes for any new management. Forget Villanueva. I'm sure he'll make it somewhere else and for years we'll kick ourselves, but he is not what is required. 5m could be well spent elsewhere right now.

We are paying the price for penny pinching. Hughes had us in a decent position where a lot of big(ger) names were interested in the post. We needed to kick on and establish ourselves as a top 10 (minimum) side. Everyday i wake up just praying that we've been bought out. Because that is the only answer to our long term future. Relegation and i can see administration and goodbye Blackburn Rovers. Extereme i know, but its a very real worry.

Getting very worried now. Spurs did not even play that great.

How the hell can't Vogel even not get on the bench???

These are dark times......

Getting worried. I was worried quite some time ago!

Last 7 games:

H - Man Utd - L 0-2

A - Bolton - D 0-0

H - Middlesbrough - D 1-1

A - Aston Villa - L 2-3

A - WBA - D 2-2

H - Chelsea - L 0-2

H - Sunderland - L 1-2

= Not good enough! We haven't won in 7 games?!

the thing is PV

YOU ARE NOT LONE IN THOSE THOUGHTS.

relegation means the end of BRFC, it is as simple as 1-2-3.

As for buyers ? Well as it stands there is NO CHANCE of any outside investment in the sums that have been mentioned.

And to make matters worse, WHU look like winning at Sunderland.

That should be the last time Ollssson plays this season as he has cost far too many goals already and his blundering 30 minutes was just typical. Above all he has no pace and then no brains. It should also be the end of Warnock in midfield but has anyone any confidence Ince sees it that way?

Not a good day. Rovers looked fairly solid at the back but there is nothing in front of it. Too many misplaced passes, bad touches, lack of imagination, and no killer instinct. The game was effectively over after the goal and was confirmed after the sending off; Rovers don't have the grit right now to claw a game back.

One positive from this is that Warnock should be back in defence.

I still don't think Ince should go though.

The only saving grace is the board must see this too. My whole family support Southampton and what is happening to them is exactly what will happen to us. Except they have a decent youth set up which is keeping them afloat....just. We don't even have that to fall back on.

I have never been a knee jerk kind of person and up until two weeks ago i was pro Ince. But this just can't continue. Ewood needs some positivity and has done for years. Ince is yet another bloody doom-monger. Continually speaking out about our finances or lack of, and painting a picture of a small time club. This should not happen. We should at the very least self promote. Cos the f**cking media do a good enough job of putting us down. This negativity will only serve to destroy what little spirit there is.

I cannot believ i am about to say this. But i am desperately clinging to the hope that Matt Jansen can perform some kind of miracle. How pathetic is that!

Another awful performance, truly dismal in terms of creativity. We made Spurs look like Real Madrid at times and Lennon like Ronaldo on a good day. I was going to leave at half-time but I was out with my son so I stayed .I couldn't believe Ollsen's performance ! Is he another Brazilian by any chance, what's wrong with just clearing the ball ! Keith Newton used to have wingers like Lennon in his back pocket, but then he could play a bit. I'm going out to the pub know to gather my thoughts. I'll be back later, but one thought for now- If we stick with Ince we'll go down , it's simple as that. If we get somebody else in we may still go down but we're giving ourselves a chance, at the moment we've no chance.

There's no way Ince is going to come out and admit we're playing awfully, are tactically inept, and are staring relegation in the face.

Easier to keep attempting to pull wool over the eyes. It won't work for long.

We did defend quite well Olsson aside (who was absolutely atrocious). However we offered very little going forward.

Cruz looks bored and unfit which is a big worry as we rely on him so much.

I can't see Ince at Rovers come Christmas. He would need some outrageously good results with a set of tough games coming up and presumably the board will want to give the new man sometime to find decent players to come in. Problem with this is we will need to install an entirely new staff.

If we did sack Ince, the new manager would have no money to bring anyone in. I would imagine (don't know the facts) that Ince gets around 1.5 million a year on a three year contract. That will be a big wedge of compensation money for a board that doesnt seem to put much out.

If that is true and there is no proviso for getting rid of a chancer in the shape of a 4th div manager if it isn't working then I am flabbergasted. And from what I've heard recently that might (unbelievably / incredibly) be the case. Ince's head should not be the only one on the block if that is the case. :(:angry2:

Pardon my ignorance but when is Dunn due back? We badly miss him.

Swap Olsson for Warnock next time out and I'd say thats our defence sorted. I'd also keep the same strike force. Its the midfield that is at best, shambolic. You'd think Ince would have this sorted after being a superb midfielder himself but he appears clueless.
