1864roverite Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 ...and any shred of positiveness shown by the Ince supporters has now surely disintegrated like the majority of us. Lets be real about it. Having listened to the game Rovers have played ok against a very poor (considering) United team. Moans and groans the commentator says, he is as bad as they get radio wise. Leave Ince at Ewood and we go to oblivion, leave him in te Old T car park and we might, just might get out of it. Good luck Burnley, I hope you dont draw manure, youve enough of it on your own pitch anyway. Good luck getting to wembley becuase your neighbours from Ewood are finished such are our inadequecies

sambo Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 That's silly. A change of management will do the team a world of good. Or, put another way, a 6-0 defeat with a new man in charge (albeit temporary) will be FAR better for the team than a 2-0 defeat and Ince in charge in the morning. I agree, the message needs to be rammed home! I'd rather we won though, but thats not happening
Backroom DE. Posted December 3, 2008 Backroom Posted December 3, 2008 We're only 2-0 down? Excellent, well done Incey. Hope our lads are enjoying the occasion, not very often you get to play against a few of United's first team players after all!
wandel77 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 We are playing against Man. U RES. and we still look like a League 1 team !!! Our defence are S***E, only one thing to do now. INCE OUT !
James No. 7 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Don't bank on it. Williams sees Ince as a long-term appointment. Ince at the helm is killing the club off. All of the good work under Hughes has been for nought.
RoverRich Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Disappointed not to find anyone discussing Cryptology and Cipher Machines this evening. Where is the matchday chat happening? Has no-one gone to revisit Dirk?
bubblerrovers Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Stop Incing out. A new coach doesn't make a defence better in a few weeks. I prefer a new Samba and a new Benni (2 season back) in, instead of a new coach. Ah, and a central midfielder who fulfills (sp?) his potential. Have you heard of Ramos, Redknapp and Spurs???? A Manager who has even the slightest idea would be better than Ince
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Listening to GMR, the Manc comentaters are slating our lack of commitment and effort. Their view - Ince has got a major job on his hands keeping us in the Premier League.
Bobby G Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 We started with such a good tempo that it took United about 5-7 minutes to get a string of passes together. We have ran, ran, ran. Every player has worked his socks off. We have had our chances. Warnock with two. Santa Cruz one. Treacy with a long range swerver and Emerton with a couple of cross/shots both tipped over. Defensively, the lack of pace at the central area of the pitch has made us ready to be cut through there. Emerton has had a good half. We are out now for sure as I cant see us NOT conceding again let alone score 2-3 goals. Derbyshire has been awful but its not his fault. Its like we are playing with 10 men. He offers nothing going forward and seems like a headless chicken. Id sub off Mokoena and Derbyshire for Judge and Villanueva personally, although Roberts may also be an option as Roque is too isolated at top and a partner may help, cause Uniteds defence has been very shaky but Roque's being forced to come back to collect balls too, which has meant that Warnock has been finding himself in excellent positions going up. I feel sorry for us cause we have really tried but we lack certain quality. Man of the moment for us without a doubt is Tugay. What a player. Pull something out of the bag Incey...You owe us.
islander200 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Agreed. COME ON UNITED and hammer six past us, and make our spineless chairman and the greedy moneymen down in Jersey do something fast.your not a real supporter mate, how can you call our chairman spineless aftert the wonderful job he has done at the club?you really want utd to give us a battering your a disgrace
92er Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Soft goals are the story of the season. Good to see the hard work of the defence coaches paying off. At least he's at this match, sitting with Matthias and another coach-Robinson?
Bobby G Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Listening to GMR, the Manc comentaters are slating our lack of commitment and effort. Their view - Ince has got a major job on his hands keeping us in the Premier League. Thats a load of bull. The one thing we cant fault is our commitment and effort today. We have really been running our legs off.
James No. 7 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Disappointed not to find anyone discussing Cryptology and Cipher Machines this evening. Where is the matchday chat happening? I was in there a while ago. I did ask around for the chat room in here, but no-one replied, so I guess there is no chat room. It just goes to show the lack of interest in this game. No-one seriously expects anything out of the Ince regime.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I agree Roberts might be a good one to bring on for Derbyshire and play 4-4-2. Someone tell Nelsen to stop punting it up every time he gets it.
sambo Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 'incey sort it out, incey, incey sort it out. Been chanted yet?
tony gale's mic Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 your not a real supporter mate, how can you call our chairman spineless aftert the wonderful job he has done at the club?you really want utd to give us a battering your a disgrace Look at the bigger picture you idiot. Ince is killing this club, and the sooner he's out, the better. If us getting battered means Paul Ince getting removed two or three games earlier, getting a new manager in time for the Christmas games and being able to assess the squad before the transfer window, there's a very good chance that'll be the difference between us going down and maybe staying down for a long time, or living to fight another day. And while I have a lot of respect for what Williams has done, the manager fiasco has brought him way down in my estimation. Firstly in the summer he picks Shearer as his first choice, which was extraordinarily stupid in itself. Then when Shearer turns him down he picks Ince over Laudrup. And now all the noises coming out of the club are that he's not thinking of giving Ince the axe for a good while yet. Oh and learn to use punctuation. Come on you Reds!
PAFELL Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 your not a real supporter mate, how can you call our chairman spineless aftert the wonderful job he has done at the club?you really want utd to give us a battering your a disgrace I think the motive is that he wants Paul Ince to be sacked - no Rovers supporter wants Rovers to get battered - but if this game means it is the last game for Ince then so be it.
Grabbi Graeme Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Been chanted yet? I would imagine it would be Incey out that was being chanted
1864roverite Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Thats a load of bull. The one thing we cant fault is our commitment and effort today. We have really been running our legs off. yes chasing the ball and uniteds midfield
misterbigalow Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 'incey sort it out, incey, incey sort it out. 'incey... out,incey,incey... out.' There, edited, sounds a lot better now.
sambo Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I doubt it, I'm sure someone would have picked up on it. I hope we chant it saturday, surely hearing that will tell the board!
Bobby G Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I will say this. Right wing must be a priority and it was a suicidal move to not sign ANYONE for that position as Emerton is by far our best right back and he can hold his own against any left winger. Looking at this team, there is so many positions with a lack of quality. Right wing, pace in central defence, a good central attacking midfielder, and possibly a left winger too. If the quality service arrives, I am sure out 4 strikers can put them away, but the service has been awful all season long...Most of our goals came from Bentleys creativity last year and this year, the quality final ball is NOWHERE to be found...
