Just picked this up today and having problems loading it. The display is all over the place, the screens split into 6 or 7 and I can't seem to sort it.

Just wondering if its the game or my telly at fault. Fifa is stil working fine.

Any ideas??

Hmmm I think that it is a faulty disc. I have had it a week and had no problems with it whatsoever. If it is on the PS3 you could try deleting the stuff it installs on your HD as that might have become corrupt during installation. If that doesn't work then it is probably faulty.

The online co-operative mode is a mess and doesnt save after you complete a mission so I would assume that this glitch is also carried over to the local co-operative mode.

I believe that Treyarch are working on a patch to sort this out so I think you're going have to hold on until that. Treyarch are actually quite good at releasing patches so I would expectit within a week or two.

It's so annoying that every game has major glitches when released these days. Can't remember having any of these problems with the Mega Drive!

Anyone noticed people cheating on the Castle map. Whats the frigging point. It seemed to take a while for people to figure out how, but not it happens every time I go on the map.

Some people have somehow managed to get above the map (So there in the air above all the buildings shooting down) or others get below the map. So you can see them but they can kill you. Then they end the game with like 20 kills and 0 deaths. Whats the point? Just makes everyone think there actually crap.

The places they do it are between the window in the high building thats alright for sniping and the low building infront of the window to the left.

Stupid.

Yeah I just leave if I come accross this map anymore, its been there for ages yet Treyarch have done sweet FA about it, there was one on roundhouse that they fixed pretty early though.

Sometimes if its a team deathmatch I'll get my clan members to position around it so we kill everyone trying to get in it, or I'll get one to plant a bouncing bettie there as its an easy kill, also everytime I spawn I just lob a grenade down there and it often kills 1 or 2.

The best are ones that cheat and then shout over their microphones like there some sort of COD master.

That glitch has partly ruined my enjoyment of the game. The other enjoyment-sucking problem is almost always joining lagging games hosted overseas.

The first time I came across the Castle glitch was playing against a high-level clan. They were being absolutely destroyed by a bunch of random, average players in headquarters. Long story short, cue them exploiting the glitch and winning. So that's how they got their high levels.

I find that I rarely play the Castle map, though, so it is not too bad. It almost always gets skipped. Unless it is the type of game where I have to go to those areas where the glitch can be exploited, I just stay at the higher top end of the map and play there. Otherwise it is frustrating beyond belief.

I've been playing this co-operatively with my Mrs. We got through a few missions and went back to it yesterday only to find it didn't save and we had to start all over again! I tried to see if there was a save option but couldn't find it... anyone got the same problem?

My mate and I just spent 3 hours playing CO-OP only to find it didn't save. I haven't been able to connect to the net yet to download any patches etc. Do you know if they've fixed this problem?

I was thinking of buying CoD tomorrow, but everyone's reviews don't sound too good. Am I better off keeping Gears 2 instead?

CoD is superb. I don't think it's right to compared the newer CoD to the old one. I think they are both great as they are based on two different eras.

I haven't played Gears 2 yet but if you liked the old CoD then i'd highly recommend the new one.

Couldn't buy it yesterday as it had sold out everywhere (I live near Portsmouth btw). I fancied Guitar Hero 4, but that was sold-out as well.

I think I may just re-buy CoD4 and enjoy that again. I'm sure CoD5 is a good game, but I'm quite happy with present-day fighting as opposed to WW2.
