<_< WITH LARDARSE SAYING THE SPENDING IS OVER,we are without a decent ball player in midfield,grella/dunn/reid cannot be relied on.virtually every player signed is big,the midfield will be bypassed ,its going to be bolton mk2

You never replied when I asked why you despise Allardyce. Though I do recall asking if you were an adult, and judging by the fact you watch in the pub, you really are a bitter little man if you hate a fellow human being because of the style of football you percieve he played at another football club.

We've had a few kerfuffles here and there, but you are absolutely spot on here. Waggy isn't a rovers fan by ANY football fans standards. If he detests Allardyce for his style of footy (whether or not he uses such methods next season) then he should feck off and support Le Arse.

I'd wager Waggy has been to more Rovers games than you'll ever get to, so suggesting he's not a Rovers fans wide of the mark.

Bolton always had a flair player to take the edge off the long ball stuff - Okocha, Djorkaeff etc... We might not have that but it shouldn't be assumed that Sam is stupid enough to rely one plan A all the time - his time's aren't THAT one dimensional.

I'd wager that most rovers fans are willing to go to games to support their club regardless of who is the manager or the style of football. So to suggest that he supports our club despite doing neither of these is wide of the mark.

Any spare money I get after paying for whatever I have to goes on the occasional personal prezzie, some on the girlfriend, but mostly on rovers tickets. I was on the away scheme as well as being a season ticket holder ever since we were back in the premiership. I included all pre-season fixtures (in the UK) and European games (in the UK). And I have only ever missed 2 matches in that time, both through illness. I am still a STH despite going to Uni next year and won't be able to afford all the away games but will go to as many as I can.

I expect fans to at least get to as many games as they can afford, regardless. It's fairly simple. And to answer your quip about 'more than I'll ever get to'....fat chance.

He's turned his back on the club and does nothing but slag us off. He'd be better off a Bumley forum were he could slag Rovers off to his hearts content.

He's an ex fan and his posts are tiresome.

And he's not the sort of fan we want anyway.

Don't be silly, my dads not been consistently since the 80's, but that doesn't mean he's an ex fan.

This is a message board where people express differing views, some you’ll agree with some you won’t, doesn’t mean he has to stop posting what he believes in.

Amen. The past is exactly that, and now he refuses to support the team based on one man. Hardly the words of a true Rover.

That's what I'm questioning. What kind of human being despises another human being so much just because of the style of football they percieved the bloke got his ex team playing?

A very sad one in my opinion. And to hate a man so much it makes you cut out one of your supposed biggest hobbies is your life is even more ridiculous.

And what exactly does he believe in? He won't tell us, so if you know, please share.

and your evidence for calling him an ex fan is.... ??

waggy simply disagrees with rovers current manager. and doesnt want to to attend rovers games whilst big sam is the manager.

THAT IS HIS CHOICE!

Who are you, his mum?

Waggy's support for the club is conditional. And since he refuses to attend games, when he can, and spends 99.9% of the time here sniping at Big Sam, I can see why he's called an ex-fan.

Takes all sorts doesn't it? Wouldn’t do for us all to be the same would it?

I'm not going to spend my time arguing about Waggy, but anyone questioning his support for the club obviously hasn’t got a Scooby doo.

Of course it's his choice. But if he thinks his comments about Big Sam are welcome, then he's sorely mistaken.

I never actually called him an ex-fan. I said I can see WHY people would. ;)

maybe you should make yourself clearer then. cos you

you said ''amen'' following on from aggyblue's ''ex-fan comment''

im sure waggy will put you right soon enough!

oh and jan... your comment doesnt even deserve a response.

I'm not calling him an ex-fan. He isn't even THAT. Being a fan means unconditionally supporting (or at least following) your team regardless of status, how they do, style of football, who's in charge or whatever. All that should matter is support for BLACKBURN ROVERS. If Waggy refuses to pay to watch his team (and he has 'apparently been to more matches than me) all of a sudden due to a managerial change, then he is not a fan. I refuse to retract my comments about him going off and supporting arsenal, seeing as they are more waggy's style.

wait, it is getting too personal here. I'm going to stop typing about Waggy, but I've made my point. And many agree so I'm obviously not alone in this.

Of course he can still be a fan and is a fan. Anyone who has been on this board for long enough will know that he is a true fan, even if his views are a bit odd at times (but that can be said for a lot of this board).

Yes I agree Eddie and deserves as much respect as the next man, he has his principles and sticks with them, it is something I actually admire in people!

Did anyone see on Rovers World Sam's comments before we signed Di Santo and the probable signing of Kalinic that he will work with the squad he has for the opening games and anyone coming in won't feature for 4,6,8 games once they are up to speed.

Can't see that happening with Di Santo surely, he'll be gone back by the time he's played for us. He might be aiming it more at Kalinic, maybe we shouldn't expect to see him straight from the start, could just be Sam trying to put people off track a bit though.
