unluckymorton Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I thought this was the Sam thread, not the where's waggy thread! Back on topic.......Another win this weekend and Sam will start to win a few more doubters over im sure. Looking at the games coming up we could start to make progress up the table. I've just been on the BBC predictor this morning, o.k I'm a little bias but it could look good for us come Christmas. I got us to eighth, if Sam gets us to tenth I'll be happy!

Hughesy Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 If we can get 7 points out of the next 9 then il be very happy!
unluckymorton Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 If we can get 7 points out of the next 9 then il be very happy! As you quite rightly pointed out, if we do start to climb the table and other results go our way then hopefully some of Sam's doubters will change their view. I hope that's the case and Sam can prove himself to the doom mongers.
waggy Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I sit with lads on the BBE who know waggy and can vouch that he did one time support the Rovers. However he doesn't any more. i do not support rovers anymore, sorry pal the lads who know me obviously do not know me,i still support rovers ,still wear the shirt with pride, all i will not do is watch them under lardarse, when you grow older you might know what it means,to have a scum bag like him in charge

The one bad thing I can think of his the allegation of corruption in football.

Lame excuse for not going. i do not support rovers anymore, sorry pal the lads who know me obviously do not know me,i still support rovers ,still wear the shirt with pride, all i will not do is watch them under lardarse, when you grow older you might know what it means,to have a scum bag like him in charge I'm not sure they'd be so twisted as to pretend that they knew you...

T4E Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I THINK SAM IS THE MAN YOU THINK HE IS A SCUMBAG What is scum about Allardyce? The one bad thing I can think of his the allegation of corruption in football. Allardyce is known to hate 21 year olds....

mhead Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 "A dog is for life ....not just for Christmas." "You can change your wife but not your football team" WAGGY out!!
JAL Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I think its only right that big Sam is challenged by Rovers supporters to either push him for that little bit extra or push him out if he cant raise his game. Sam Allardyce definitely needs the challenge, though some posters do it in a rather curt tasteless manner that sometimes isnt endearing at all.
gazsimm Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 waggy we all know you don't like allardyce, but do you really need to come on this board everyday and keeping calling sam 'Lardarse'? I am not the biggest fan of Allardyce, but what i do know is with him charge the club will never get relegated, which sadly when Ince was in charge i did not feel the same.
RovertheHill Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 tell ya what wouldnt mind betting a pound a game on the rovers games waggy has been to compared to you. or even me and miker. So what? He doesn't go now does he? He's entitled to his opinion as everyone is on here, and frankly this "I'm a bigger fan than you because..." game is pointless anyway, but I'm going to listen to somebody's opinion more who has been to the game rather than seen it on Sky or worse, MOTD.
John Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Sam is going to miss our next 3 games, as he is to undergo an angioplasty - recently he has been feeling discomfort in his chest. Neil Mac will be in charge. Get better soon Sam.
Blue n White Rover Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Sam is going to miss our next 3 games, as he is to undergo an angioplasty. Neil Mac will be in charge. Get well soon Sam! Crucial blow for Rovers, I'm guessing he wont be training the team during the week, and with the next 3 games, we have to be looking for something around 7 points from them.

Good Luck Sam, does this mean we can drop the 4-4-1-1
Silencio Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Sam Allardyce definitely needs the challenge, though some posters do it in a rather curt tasteless manner that sometimes isnt endearing at all. Black, Kettle, Pot, Kettle, Black, Pot, Black, Pot, Kettle.....
Craigman Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Get well soon Sam. A heart operation is not to be taken lightly.
cn174 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 whats an angioplasty ? It is an operation which widens blood vessels, usually in the heart, which are too narrow or have been obstructed.
tcj_jones Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Bloody hell. Let's hope he has a speedy recovery. I don't think that the high incidence of heart related health conditions amongst professional football managers is a coincidence. How the likes of Sir Bobby (RIP), Fergy, Wenger, Trapatoni etc have stayed in the game for as long as they have, I don't know.
