Shame you wont get your ST discount any more.

ST holders don't get a discount any more. That went a while ago.

Your discount went into the season ticket FFS.

Have to say I am starting to turn against him. We're utterly lacking in ideas and things are getting worse. He's steadfastly refusing to play with two strikers.

Unlike others on this board who are a bit more reactionary, I don't mind 4-5-1 as a concept if the players playing in the system are good. If Emerton was in midfield, or even Warnock had we kept him, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad. However when you're having to put Keith Andrews in the team where you've got more talented players like Benni and Kalinic missing out, then something is very wrong.

If there was another manager out there who could replace him I'd get rid in a heartbeat...

But realistically, who is there?

Anyone would be better than Big Sam, the players don't want to play for him thats obvious.

Mark Hughes would be a dream, never guna happen tho

His problem is tht he is making a mess of the tools available to him.

Playing 4-5-1 requires players capable of playing that formation. Todays team are not capable of that.

Rovers have a 4-4-2 set up with the players available so why he doesnt do that is a mystery.

Andrews shouldnt even have travelled, there are youth/reserve players who can offer better. In fact, my knee is that bad that I could still have a better input than him.

Franco is playing against 4 as there is no support for him.

Dunn is out of sorts, overweight and no where near the form he was at pre injury.

Emerton is our only line of support or creatvity but he is put under so much pressure due to Andrews lack of ability.

The defence want a good kicking for allowing Richards to get into the area without so much as a Rovers player breathing on him.

Grayson - burnley failed to get him - but Rovers would get him. I have been a supporter of Sam, I am now starting to have doubts. I just cannot understand how they can play so badly against city - even though roberts and macarthy are injured.

There are realistic alternatives to Sam

Feel free to name them then?

Grayson is one. McLaren? Not a step up IMO.

City 3-0. Get Tugay in as manager, he can't do any worse.
