He just reminds me of a really unhealthy eater - think thats what made me say that!

He also loves a big drink!!

He does have an ill look about him at times. Can't imagine him being a healthy eater either, I wonder if thats why him and Benni don't get on? Sam must catch him alot in Maccie D's on his way home from training.

Grayson, Hendry & Parkes should be a management team - however I think they would benefit from another couple of years in the lower leagues first!

Really? Then just to chuck a spanner into your wheel ... why are Blackpool doing much better under Holloway than when any of them were in charge?

Colin Hendry's managerial career has been an ABSOLUTE DISASTER.

He should be nowhere near our club in a managerial role.

IF, in the event that Sam was sacked, I wonder if Neil McDonald could be left in charge? That would save us having to compensate him and the rest of the backroom staff - but the $1m question is whether he'd be up to the job? A lot has been made of his stewardship when we beat Chelsea, but one swallow does not a summer make.

Think that's about the most ridiculous post I've ever read on here and with you, Waggy, Mellinson and Abbey around that is saying something!

If Sam goes Neil should too.

Holloway is just continuing the work.

I thought Grayson got Blackpool into that league in the 1st place?! Didnt they have their best winning run under him (10 consecutive wins), reach the 4rd round of the FA Cup for the 1st time in 17 years under him & then the 4th round of the league cup for the first time in 35 years?! And at the end of the 2008 season they finished in their highest league place for 37 years!

He then quit & had the balls to prove his salt & dropped down a league to go to Leeds next - he took them from 9th to 4th in his first season. This season they have just beat United for the 1st time since 1981. They lost their best player in the summer, but he used it to strengthen and they They are now top of the league, 6pts clear with a game in hand.

So to me, so far, so good for Grayson.........

When Parkes left Blackpool because of Finances - they were 16th....he wasnt sacked or anything, they just had a dispute over his contract.

Hendry - Yes has been poor, but I think it would be great to have some of 'our' old boys running the club....as with tugay in a couple of years.

Cannot believe the players are not getting a bit more stick for their recent efforts (or those efforts over the past 2 years). Then again, some of them are simply not good enough.

Think we need to act carefully here and try and keep some perspective. Sacking someone is not as easy or straight forward as some are suggesting. Main issue/problem for us is the cost, but also we should remember the recent applicants for EPL jobs, including ours, has been pretty cringe worthy. Be very careful what you wish for.

The league is still very tight points wise, however no doubt that we need to pick up some wins asap.

Right now, i'd say the players should pick the team and the system/tactics for this game with agreed targets and Allardyce oversee that if they dont implement what they say, then he changes it.

Empowerment, if they cant do it, then the exit door beckons plus it gives Allardyce an opportunity to look at himself.

The players should get some stick, but it is easier to blame 1 then 11. It is also the mangers job to motivate and play by their strengths which he seems incapable of at the moment.

Yes the players should be criticised if they are deliberately not trying, but in most cases that's not what's happening. They simply can't do what is being asked of them because they do not have the means or capabilities to play those tactics. Besides which the manager is responsible for a lot more than the players are. It's their job to do what they are being asked to do to the best of their ability. The manager is the man who sets the atmosphere around the club, who selects players, who manages the different egos and personalities. It is his job to be the inspiration when the players can't seem to get it right and to encourage players going through loss of form or whatever. Players need to have confidence in a manager. They don't have to like him but they need to trust in what he's telling them to do if they are to have even a half decent attempt at it. On the field of play the players have to do what they can but all the rest is up to the manager. If they can't do the job when they cross the white line, then that has to be down to the manager.

1. Don't put me in Waggy's league.

2. Get my name right if you are going to name-check me.

3. I also think his statement is ridiculous.

I put you in Waggy's league. You guys are fighting the the Champions League as far as ridiculous posts go. Abbey keeps getting beat on penalties in the Semi's, but one day he'll beat you.

But you just dislike me, regardless of what I post. And ridiculous posts are sometimes what is needed. What you think is ridiculous makes sense to me. It's better than just posting what others think.

And like I've said before, 'and miss out on all the fun.' No chance.

Also, the amount of people who quote to to give you some stick, I doubt blocking you would make much difference at all.

So you have fun by disagreeing with someone (most specifically me) on a messageboard. Wow. Being my own man isn't ridiculous. People believe what they believe and so be it.....and you kow we're only discussing FOOTBALL, right?

No matter what the style of play and poor away results, Sam's home record has been fantastic since he took over.

Only three defeats in all competitions.

And they were Villa, City and Spurs, all top clubs I think you would agree.

We cant be that bad a side if we are still picking points up at home.
