Its possible that this may have been posted somewhere else - apologies to Freddy:-

Is this Allardyce?

Or is this just fantasy?

Caught in a poor team,

Try to hoof it to victory,

Open your eyes,

Just stop telling lies and see,

We're just a poor team, we have no quality,

Because its easy come, easy go,

Just like that Elrio,

Any way the Blues scores, doesnt really matter to me,

To me.

Grella, just skinned a man,

Put the ball between his legs,

But he slipped and now he's dead.

Givet's game has just begun,

But Nelsen's gone and thrown it all away.

Roberts!!! Oooohh!!!

Didnt mean to make us lose,

He couldn't score if we played until tomorrow,

Carry on, carry on, cos we are Blackburn Rovers.

Big Sam, your time has come,

Sends shivers down my spine,

When you say that we played fine .

Goodbye, Pedersen, youve got to go,

Gotta leave you far behind with your long throws.

Nikola!!! Oooohh!!! (anywhere the ball goes)

Im not gonna lie,

I sometimes wish you'd never been bought at all.

I see a little overweight South African,

Benni Mac, Benni Mac, will you do a back heel.

Hoilett quick as lightning, Jacobsen is frightening me.

Franco Di Santo, Franco Di Santo

Franco Di Santo, Franco Di Santo Where's the goal

I don't know

Were just a poor team, nobody likes us,

Hes just a right-back too old for Madrid,

Spare me this game from this monstrosity.

Dunny, the window, please dont let him go,

Nzonzi, no, we will not let him go let him go

Nzonzi, we will not let him go let him go

Nzonzi, we will not let him go let him go

We will not let him go let him go

We will not let him go let him go

No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

ABSLOUTELY TREMENDOUS!!! How about re-naming it BOHEMIAN CRAPSODY?

Whats really sad is if/when he goes to another team he will be on fire and start banging in the goals (for a couple of months anyway while he proves his point)

If he played regularly for us he would score goals, which is something he's done fairly well throughout extended runs in the side the entire time that he's been here (last winter being the perfect example).

Hope so, should it go badly anyway!

Hughes was losing the plot before he went anyway, he was actively looking elsewhere and when he did leave he unsettled our best player for months. Not to mention him and that nob Bowen slagging us off in the media belittleing us. I don't want him back, he has more of an ego tgan big fat Sam. If he applied for the job or contacted JW with his tail between his legs, maybe, maybe I'd have him back.

Yes but Allardyce has had two windows before now to rectify the midfield problems and that is largely the reason why our squad is weaker than before.

I'm not denying that for one minute, just stating that Hughes had better tools rather than being a fantastic workman.

Lets face it, Hughes had a LOT better players at his disposal, with the same personnel I dare say Sam could do a half decent job.

I think maybe you're quite right, his defensive approach may have worked quite well with Bentley and Roque. Having Bellamy in a defensive side would have probably have been perfect with his pace. Hughes' problems started with central midfield. This has never been solved.

I think Hughes was great at transfers for little money. We haven't replaced Warnock or Santa Cruz, I dare say Hughes might have found some bargins, he seemed to have a knack. We lost bellamy and he managed to win a gamble on Roque. I don't think Hugges would have wasted wages on Salgado, he definitely wouldn't have bothered with past it players like Diouf. We might have seen Tugay also stay and start coaching. Somehow I can't see Tugay and Sam getting on, chalk and cheese them two.

One thing though is, he got Damba and Nelsen playing out of their skins, as well as Bentley and a few others. I wonder if he did cone whether he'd be able yo develop players like Hoilett and N'Zonzi. I can't remember Sam bringing truely great form out of any of our players, they all seem to have more potential than we are seeing.

Hughes brought in those players for very little money - Bellamy, McCarthy, Santa Cruz, Warnock, Bentley et al, all bargain basement deals.

As has been said so often on here, our problems began when Savage broke his leg and the Board wouldn't or couldn't allow him to sign a replacement. We've been going on a downward trajectory ever since.

Ha! Sam admits “But I’m also aware the rest of the team has not contributed enough goals. I seem to be repeating myself week after week. We just can’t find a cutting edge to give us a victory."

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. :)
