The clubs that are already the riggest get tens of millions added to their bottom line.

Sad. Ultimately it is going to erode attendances outside the bgger teams, just as has happend in Scotland, Portugal, Holland where similar lack of competition has undercut the sport.

all this talk of cl and ambition . ZZZZAM DOESNT HAVE THE AMBITION TO BEAT ANY TEAM IN OUR DIVISION AWAY FROM HOME LET ALONE SPAIN OR ITALY....1 WIN AND 8 GOALS SCORED,MARVELOUS....and the away win was when the messiah was in hospital :wacko:

Abbzzz, I'm sure Sam tries to set the team up to win away from home.

I very much doubt he sits there before the game and goes "f**k it, we'll give 'em the win"

on another note ,i was speaking to someone who has a 10k box at ewood and has had one since they were available.(local company...no name mentioned...promised.)He wines and dines clients and he has said he wont be renewing if the manager is the same at the reypayment time,as its " DEPRESSING LAUNCHBALL AND THE CLIENTS HAVE EVEN BEEN LEAVING AT HALF TIME".

No, paying 10K a season is supporting the club as a business.

Supporting the team is going whenever you can and actually wanting your team to do well no matter what style of footie they play.

im presuming the wanting the team to do well is aimed at me...do tell where i have once said i dont want us to do well? it happens i dont like the style ,the boredom,the attidtude and blaming all things himself of our inspiring leader...i have stopped away games because i am not wasting my money on rubbish. so what your saying is your not a rovers fan if you have an opinion .

I thin he was referring to your mate complaining about entertaining his colleagues instead of being at the match for the reason the majority are. If your mate cancels the renting of the box and saves himself just shy of 10k by sitting in a seat, we wouldn't be talking about it now haha

I just assumed, sorry. And who we blame/praise is more often than not appropriate anyway. If the tactics are right, but the team don't put the effort in or make errors, we blame them. If the team puts in plenty of effort but the tactics are fecked up, we blame the manager. Or at least that's what I try to do. I don't feel I blindly praise him regardless. For what it's worth I'm not all that keen on him, his tactics or whatever. But he's doing his job and (barring some post-match lies that EVERY manager tells) he's an honest manager and has the clubs interests at heart (albeit a dicky one).

The manager's line-up, the manager's tactics. You don't go to Anfield and play a lumbering centre-half up front on his own if you want something from the game.
