Hughesy Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 The clubs that are already the riggest get tens of millions added to their bottom line. Sad. Ultimately it is going to erode attendances outside the bgger teams, just as has happend in Scotland, Portugal, Holland where similar lack of competition has undercut the sport. Did you mean riggest or biggest?! riggest Superlative Adjective form of "rig". Synonyms: sickest, wicked, cool, the best of a catagory, or group. Anything that is way better than something else As for attendances.....whats the outlook for attendances this season? I know ours are up, and we are hardly fighting for the title!

ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 all this talk of cl and ambition . ZZZZAM DOESNT HAVE THE AMBITION TO BEAT ANY TEAM IN OUR DIVISION AWAY FROM HOME LET ALONE SPAIN OR ITALY....1 WIN AND 8 GOALS SCORED,MARVELOUS....and the away win was when the messiah was in hospital
super_arran Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 all this talk of cl and ambition . ZZZZAM DOESNT HAVE THE AMBITION TO BEAT ANY TEAM IN OUR DIVISION AWAY FROM HOME LET ALONE SPAIN OR ITALY....1 WIN AND 8 GOALS SCORED,MARVELOUS....and the away win was when the messiah was in hospital Abbzzz, I'm sure Sam tries to set the team up to win away from home. I very much doubt he sits there before the game and goes "f**k it, we'll give 'em the win"
mellison24 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I would also point out that NOBODY thinks he is 'the messiah'. Merely that he's doing a very good job with the resources at his disposal. Christ, we're not the frigging Geordies where every manager is supposed lead us to the promised land.
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 bull poo..he may not say f it .He sure sets the team up not to win. on another note ,i was speaking to someone who has a 10k box at ewood and has had one since they were available.(local company...no name mentioned...promised.)He wines and dines clients and he has said he wont be renewing if the manager is the same at the reypayment time,as its " DEPRESSING LAUNCHBALL AND THE CLIENTS HAVE EVEN BEEN LEAVING AT HALF TIME".

Maybe he should go and support the team rather than brown nosing his clients?
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 IS PAYING 10K A SEASON not supporting the team? so all boxes and revenue scrapped? your barmy maty.
super_arran Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 IS PAYING 10K A SEASON not supporting the team? so all boxes and revenue scrapped? your barmy maty. No, paying 10K a season is supporting the club as a business. Supporting the team is going whenever you can and actually wanting your team to do well no matter what style of footie they play.
CrazyIvan Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 IS PAYING 10K A SEASON not supporting the team? so all boxes and revenue scrapped? your barmy maty. Pot - Kettle anyone?
TimmyJimmy Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 ... LARDARSE OUT zzzzzzzzzzzzz - or alternatively FAKE SUPPORTERS OUT like everything in life it depends on your stereotypes and prejudices
Amo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Abbzzz, I'm sure Sam tries to set the team up to win away from home. I very much doubt he sits there before the game and goes "f**k it, we'll give 'em the win" Did you go to Anfield away last year?
mellison24 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Did you go to Anfield away last year? I would blame the team for that disgrace. No support for Samba whatsoever apart from Warnock. If Sam didn't want to win, why bother playing someone up front? Even a defender.
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 No, paying 10K a season is supporting the club as a business. Supporting the team is going whenever you can and actually wanting your team to do well no matter what style of footie they play. so him paying for a box means hes not a fan? he goes home and away,im confused? im presuming the wanting the team to do well is aimed at me...do tell where i have once said i dont want us to do well? it happens i dont like the style ,the boredom, the attidtude and blaming all things himself of our inspiring leader...i have stopped away games because i am not wasting my money on rubbish. so what your saying is your not a rovers fan if you have an opinion . Pot - Kettle anyone? I would blame the team for that disgrace. No support for Samba whatsoever apart from Warnock. If Sam didn't want to win, why bother playing someone up front? Even a defender. sounds like zzzzzzam blame the team for the loss and when we win its down to the great expert himself? aye super samba the best striker since shearer.
mellison24 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 so him paying for a box means hes not a fan? he goes home and away,im confused? im presuming the wanting the team to do well is aimed at me...do tell where i have once said i dont want us to do well? it happens i dont like the style ,the boredom, the attidtude and blaming all things himself of our inspiring leader...i have stopped away games because i am not wasting my money on rubbish. so what your saying is your not a rovers fan if you have an opinion . I thin he was referring to your mate complaining about entertaining his colleagues instead of being at the match for the reason the majority are. If your mate cancels the renting of the box and saves himself just shy of 10k by sitting in a seat, we wouldn't be talking about it now haha
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 he goes home and away and before he got a box he stood on the blackburn end as a kid...so you can harldy say he isnt a fan ffs.ps where did i say he was my mate? if you talk to a random stranger in a pie shop doesnt make them your pal does it?
Hughesy Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Good for your mate/ pie man/ dog & your story Zzzzzzzabbey - same old! Use opta stats to slag our keeper or whatever, the table says we are 12th....whether thats his doing or not, it doesnt really matter. As for the excuses on non-renewal, what did he want? Cheaper box after relegation?!
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Good for your mate/ pie man/ dog & your story Zzzzzzzabbey - same old! SORRY I DIDNT MEAN TO OFFEND THE GREATEST FAN IN HISTORY. Use opta stats to slag our keeper or whatever, the table says we are 12th..I HAVENT..whether thats his doing or not, it doesnt really matter. As for the excuses on non-renewal, what did he want? Cheaper box after relegation?!HE IS GONNA CANCEL AND JUST GET A SEASON TICKET !!! HES BAD. OH I LOVE THIS LAST WEEK ITS GREAT WE ARE 10TH ,ITS GREAT WERE 11TH AND NOW WERE GREAT COS WE ARE 12TH....
CrazyIvan Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 OH I LOVE THIS LAST WEEK ITS GREAT WE ARE 10TH ,ITS GREAT WERE 11TH AND NOW WERE GREAT COS WE ARE 12TH.... You're getting as bad as Waggy!
mellison24 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 he goes home and away and before he got a box he stood on the blackburn end as a kid...so you can harldy say he isnt a fan ffs.ps where did i say he was my mate? if you talk to a random stranger in a pie shop doesnt make them your pal does it? I just assumed, sorry. And who we blame/praise is more often than not appropriate anyway. If the tactics are right, but the team don't put the effort in or make errors, we blame them. If the team puts in plenty of effort but the tactics are fecked up, we blame the manager. Or at least that's what I try to do. I don't feel I blindly praise him regardless. For what it's worth I'm not all that keen on him, his tactics or whatever. But he's doing his job and (barring some post-match lies that EVERY manager tells) he's an honest manager and has the clubs interests at heart (albeit a dicky one).
Amo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I would blame the team for that disgrace. No support for Samba whatsoever apart from Warnock. If Sam didn't want to win, why bother playing someone up front? Even a defender. The manager's line-up, the manager's tactics. You don't go to Anfield and play a lumbering centre-half up front on his own if you want something from the game.
ABBEY Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 You're getting as bad as Waggy! YAWN.....your as boring as jims railway station too.
