Guest bluerovers Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Bluerovers-you can have a free week of talking sh1te without punishment for that GIF. You may end up regretting that I've given you a bit of stick for being an argumentative so and so but fair play that's quality. lol. A forum without argument is like blue without white (my attempt at poetry, maybe I'll stick to the GIFs).
BuckyRover Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 You may end up regretting that A forum without argument is like blue without white (my attempt at poetry, maybe I'll stick to the GIFs). It's not the arguing. It's just I don't recall you ever agreeing with anyone.
rebelmswar Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 It's not the arguing. It's just I don't recall you ever agreeing with anyone. He did agree that Liverpool's goal against Sunderland was hilarious.
John Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Good read. Sam Allardyce - A case for the defence
Guest bluerovers Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 OK, I think I've milked this camel dry now (turn speakers on, kudos to rebel for the music idea)... I'm sure he'll do something equally funny soon on camera.
Stuart Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Bluerover, I think that gif needs to become your avatar!
Guest bluerovers Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Bluerover, I think that gif needs to become your avatar! You can only use the stock avatars can't you?
Eddie Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 You can ask for new ones to be added. Not sure if you are allowed to use a gif though.
Guest bluerovers Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 You can ask for new ones to be added. Not sure if you are allowed to use a gif though. It says you can at the settings page, besides hasn't Le Chuck got that monkey strumming a guitar?
Eddie Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 True. You must be able to then, not something I pay a huge amount of attention to I must admit.
Stuart Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 You can only use the stock avatars can't you? You can request it in the ask admin and notices section. And you need to be extra nice to Clare! (cn174)
DanLad Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 No, but I can do him wearing a cowboy hat, holster and slapping a cartoon girl's ass... This is superb! Cheers, bluerovers!
LeChuck Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 It says you can at the settings page, besides hasn't Le Chuck got that monkey strumming a guitar? I did choose it in protest at the lack of avatars available, it was the most annoying one I could find. I've grown fond of it over time though. Great work on the gif by the way, I love it.

LeChuck Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Didn't you at some point have the ghost pirate as yours? Yeah I did, it seemed to disappear when we upgraded the board. That was a picture of the actual LeChuck.
Yorick Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The fickleness of football fans is not restricted to the rovers fans and Sam Allardyce. The full time whistle was greeted with a chorus of boos at the Emirates and the Birmingham crowd despite them going one full year without defeat at St Andrews spent much of the second half chanting 4-4-2 in the direction of Alex McLeish. A chorus of booing and comments of it on Match of the Day for McLeish after the Everton match yesterday.
philipl Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Sadly, Sam lost yet another half time team talk on Saturday. Not fr the first time we conceded shortly after the break.
gumboots Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Sadly, Sam lost yet another half time team talk on Saturday. Not fr the first time we conceded shortly after the break. Can we draft in colin Montgomerie just to do the team talks? You get specialists for all sorts of other coaching jobs!
47er Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Sadly, Sam lost yet another half time team talk on Saturday. Not fr the first time we conceded shortly after the break. Did you actually hear this half-time talk by Sam or are you making it up?
philipl Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Did you actually hear this half-time talk by Sam or are you making it up? Please tell me Jon Walters' 48th minute Stoke winner is a figment of my imagination!!
Parsonblue Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Please tell me Jon Walters' 48th minute Stoke winner is a figment of my imagination!! No it was a result of an individual error. If Samba had been goalside of his man then Walters wouldn't have scored but he allowed him to get the wrong side of him. A simple positional error that happens in games. Sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you don't. I'm not quite sure how that can be blamed on a half-time team talk unless you are saying that the manager instructed the player to get into poor positions in these situations?
47er Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Please tell me Jon Walters' 48th minute Stoke winner is a figment of my imagination!! No but the link you're making with a hypothetical half-time talk is. I just hope you're not using the same long bow re the takeover.
