47er Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Really? I would have thought that the perfomances this season were enough without even posting. So stop posting

S15 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 stilletto stop quoting me ,its great that way because i love ignoring you. Think I can make that one out.
John Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Phil Jones on Sam “The manager has been a great help for me coming through. He gave me my chance and he’s a good manager. He’s a great man manager. He always talks to individuals about how they can improve.
broadsword Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Do you think Blackpool will stay up Bryan? They have a puncher's chance.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Allardyce wants more goals No ###### sherlock.
DanLad Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 They have a puncher's chance. I love this analogy.
John Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Ancelotti, who is relieved that big central defender Alex is fit, accepts it will be a physical contest at Ewood Park, but instead of castigating Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce for his style, he admitted that he would do the same in Big Sam's size 12s.
Andy Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Ancelotti, who is relieved that big central defender Alex is fit, accepts it will be a physical contest at Ewood Park, but instead of castigating Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce for his style, he admitted that he would do the same in Big Sam's size 12s. Speaks volumes that a respected, learned and successful manager like Ancelotti says those things.
JMillZz Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Annoys me does big sams comments on the sky sports website, he blames the strikers but we aren't even creating the chances for the strikers because of his negative tactics!!!! Arghhhhh!!!
92er Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Annoys me does big sams comments on the sky sports website, he blames the strikers but we aren't even creating the chances for the strikers because of his negative tactics!!!! Arghhhhh!!! What I heard on Radio Lancs was the need for all the team to be involved in scoring goals. He also seemed to be praising Anelka as an example of somebody he had worked with who had gone on to better things.
MarkBRFC71 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Speaks volumes that a respected, learned and successful manager like Ancelotti says those things. He's hardly going to speak the truth and say "Sam Allardyce is an overinflated egomaniac, who's won nothing and who's team play one way and rely on stone-age tactics. We'll **** this one - 3-0, easy" is he now? Just part of the press-games that all managers play - take Carlo's comments with a pinch of salt.
Majiball Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 That's obvious Maj. Your point is? The players have now shown they realise we need to retain the ball better than we did at Liverpool. Will be interesting to see how we play today now.
AspRover Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Speaks volumes that a respected, learned and successful manager like Ancelotti says those things. Chelsea have been gathering a bit of a reputation as a 'physical' side too though, it may simply be a way of indirectly answering his own critics.
Mr. E Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 time is up. It's November and we're in the relegation zone.
sambo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 time is up. It's November and we're in the relegation zone. Anything other than a win vs Wigan and he has to go. Yes, we may have played fantastic today, but the league table tells its own story.
Amo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 time is up. It's November and we're in the relegation zone. I would give Sam till the Wigan game, at least. It will either make him or break him (as Ince found out).
Billy Castell Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Hmmmm, who will take over though? We have been stung once before by hiring a young lower league manager. It is hard to see who will cut the mustard at the top level. And there are few established managers who are free and good enough. Strachan, Curbishley et al have had a go, and are not better than Sam.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Not calling for his head yet but we need to start picking up points and quick.
rigger Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 We cannot afford to get rid of Sam, but perhaps JW,as Sam's boss, might suggest a change of tactic for the Wigan (must win) game. If this was to work then Sam would get all the plaudits again, and he could tell everyone how he is a master tactician.
beerwins Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Sacking Sam now isnt the right move, granted he isnt doing well but we have nobody to replace him? which manager could come in and guarantee us the points to stay up? I cant think of any and there is too much going on with the takeover replacing Sam now would just be too many changes. I agree with most that he isnt the right man to take us forward but until we know what the new owners plans are he must stay till the end of the season, what we really need is some money in the window and if these new owners cant offer that then its pointless selling the club to them.
Majiball Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Not calling for his head yet but we need to start picking up points and quick. Play like we did today and we will. Play like we did at Pool and we'll struggle. Well done today Sam much better.
imy9 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 time is up. It's November and we're in the relegation zone. Are we? Thought we were 17th?
92er Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Are we? Thought we were 17th? When I was coming away from the match, someone said Liverpool are playing tomorrow-so if they get something then we weill be in the bottom 3.
