So the news that the best rugby player in the world is a Rovers fan came as a welcome surprise.

He broke the record for this year for Wales all time leading try scorer, Won a 2nd career Grand Slam scoring 6 tries in the process and was player of the tournament.

I don't think anyone else can compete with that this year and he fully deserves the award.

Richie McCaw I thought would of been in there but he didn't make the top 5 shortlist.
