[Archived] New Games For The Christmas List

Wonder if anyone wants to chip in here - the dear old parents rang me the other night and offered to buy me a 360 game for xmas instead of the usual (well intentioned I might add) clutter I usually get (I mean a I am a fan but a "Simpsons" China set last year???)

Anyway, I've already got GOW2, FIFA, GTA, Fable 2, Fallout 3 (brilliant btw),COD4 etc and I think I've narrowed it down to either LEFT 4 DEAD or Call Of Duty World at War. I like multiplayer action but I think I might find CODWaW a bit similar to COD4?

All the reviews I've read are solid for both but I was wondering if anyone here has played either of these (particularly Left4Dead) and could offer a recommendation. Any other recommendations I've missed would be gratefully recieved. (XBOX360)

I few people I know have played Left4Dead and say it's excellent, but is more of a multiplayer game. I haven't tried it yet, but I'd personally get it as CODWAW looks pretty similar to COD4.
