I know that things like this can be overstated but this is the start of the two most important games for Rovers since Southampton away and Forest at home in 1999.

Southampton....the game that summed Brian Kidd, 3-1 up, bossing the game Mr Kidd made a tactical substitution to close the game out and if by magic Southampton pull it back to 3-3. A certain Mark hughes scored his first goal for Saints as well if I remember it.

Forest at home, K. Gallacher missed a penalty as well.
