RibbleValleyRover Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Dunny reckons he is ready to come back: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/7779882.stm "I've come back from injury far too many times a little bit early, so I wouldn't put myself at risk," Dunn, 28, told BBC Radio Lancashire. "I'm back because I feel I'm ready. I feel fit and sharp."

vintageadidas Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 How many we sold??? Wet and windy tomorrow. That favours Wigan in my opinion.
Brfcrule1 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 yeah good to have Dunny back although I do think it maybe too early for Grella but good to have a bit more creativity in the squad with Dunny just hope we get the result tommorrow.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 When both are fully fit I think we will have a very good partnership in the centre. On paper, they compliment each other. Come on you Blues. One win to get the monkey off our backs and get back to winning ways.
Amo Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 When both are fully fit I think we will have a very good partnership in the centre. On paper, they compliment each other. "I love what you've done with your hair!" "Oh, thank you! Y'know Crocodile Dundee? Loved it!"
American Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 "I love what you've done with your hair!" "Oh, thank you! Y'know Crocodile Dundee? Loved it!"
Ozz Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Sadly my first miss of an away game at Wigan ever, family first etc. C'mon Rovers keep up our goal quota at the JJB (at least 3 every year). Paul Inces Blue and white army !!
Commondore Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Rovers win 3-2 after being 1 goal down at the break... Santa Cruz 2, Samba.
nicko Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Same team as last Saturday I think you will find...
herbergeehh Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Why not Benni McCarthy? Why not Benni McCarthy? Why not Benni McCarthy? Why not Benni McCarthy? Why not Benni McCarthy?
modes98 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Interesting. Nice half 7 start tomorrow, trains are at weird times.
Mr. E Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I hope people aren't kidding themselves that this will any easier than united or liverpool. We just have to make sure we can remember how to win.
Iceman Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 So is Vogel on the bench. I still say he is better than Grella. Should be starting every game if fully fit. Emerton,Dunn,Vogel and Pedersen as our midfield

philipl Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I know that things like this can be overstated but this is the start of the two most important games for Rovers since Southampton away and Forest at home in 1999.
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 They were 3-3 draws and a 2-1 or 3-1 defeat IIRC...Back then Rovers wasnt on TV so I had to do with FT results on BBC Radio...
Iceman Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 67 split,so you reckon Grella is a better player than Vogel?
Blueandwhitemike Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 How are we supposed to know that already? Grella hasn't even played a full game, give him a chance for pity's sake. We have not even seen that much of Vogel.
philipl Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 They were 3-3 draws and a 2-1 or 3-1 defeat IIRC...Back then Rovers wasnt on TV so I had to do with FT results on BBC Radio... 3-3 having failed to hold a 3-1 lead 12 minutes from time and a 1-2 defeat.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 3-3 having failed to hold a 3-1 lead 12 minutes from time and a 1-2 defeat. Southampton....the game that summed Brian Kidd, 3-1 up, bossing the game Mr Kidd made a tactical substitution to close the game out and if by magic Southampton pull it back to 3-3. A certain Mark hughes scored his first goal for Saints as well if I remember it. Forest at home, K. Gallacher missed a penalty as well.
yellowsubmarine Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Argh, this match won't be shown on tv in my country tonight.
Darth Paul Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Don't worry, it will probably only be shown for 15 secs at the end of the programme over here too.
frosty Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 How many we sold??? Around 3,000 the LT said today.
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Argh, this match won't be shown on tv in my country tonight. For the first time in two seasons they arent showing it here in the Middle East either, on Showtime. They are showing all the other games. I wonder why?!?
