sambo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 As reported on the front page of the LET, there was fighting between Blackburn and Burnley fans Saturday night. I was on the train, and didn't really see the fighting, but i saw the Burnley fan get on the train and shout 'COME ON BURNLEY' - there were more waiting outside the train station. Batons were wielded, arrests made etc What are your thoughts? Supposedly the Burnley lads got a good hiding though Its the second incident of Rovers train trouble, following people will fireworks and looting when we played Bolton

Supposedly the Burnley lads got a good hiding though Its the second incident of Rovers train trouble, following people will fireworks and looting when we played Bolton No report in the LT re who got the better of whom so no need for the triumphalism. If these lads need a tear up so much the Army is currently recruiting.
sambo Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 No triumphalism, although they deserved what they got for causing the trouble. Rovers fans getting a bit of a bad reputation atm, fireworks and smashed windows at Bolton to fighting at Wigan.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Why were Burnley fans waiting on Blackburn Train station?...sounds like pre planned trouble to me. Stupid gobshytes.
Ossydave Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Something and nothing really, as usual sensationalised by the LET.
longsiders1882 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Supposedly the Burnley lads got a good hiding though I guess theres a first time for everything. I assume your lot didn't run like usual because they were stuck on a train?
Mr Creosote Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I guess theres a first time for everything. I assume your lot didn't run like usual because they were stuck on a train? Keyboard warrior alert!
Backroom Tom Posted December 16, 2008 Backroom Posted December 16, 2008 To be honest there seems to be a growing number of numpties at Rovers now, most of them spotty kids who like to give it the big I am when all there mates are behind them. A few at Wigan were threatening our own fans. At times it's embarassing to be a Rover's fan (although you get these everyhwere now)
Mr Creosote Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I guess theres a first time for everything. I assume your lot didn't run like usual because they were stuck on a train? "your lot" ffs, how old are you?
Gav Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I guess theres a first time for everything. I assume your lot didn't run like usual because they were stuck on a train? Nothing to run from they were all under the seats Longsider the keyboard warrior, priceless
jim mk2 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Where did this alleged incident take place because to my knowledge Blackburn does not have a "train" station ?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Where did this alleged incident take place because to my knowledge Blackburn does not have a "train" station ? Err yeah it does. Quite a big one.
jim mk2 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Err yeah it does. Quite a big one. ..... and some fell on stony ground ...........
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Speak up Jim, I'm not understanding you.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 If my auntie had balls she'd be me uncle. Train, railway, choo-choo building, whatever you wish to call it.
SamDingle Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Half a dozen spotty chavs chasing each other around the station. Blimey. It's like the dark days of the 70s/80s.
sambo Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 Yeah they were all chavs, has been sensationalised because I only saw chantings. Definitely pre planned, the Burnley fans were waiting but I don't think the Rovers fans had planned for them to be waiting, the Burnley fans were with a woman who tried to shut one of them up.
Ozz Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 If my auntie had balls she'd be me uncle. If your Auntie had balls she'd be a post operative gender change patient. Or possibly he'd be one. Not sure on the correct form on that one.

So the (not so) famous suicide squad travel with their mothers these days eh...dear oh dear!!

This is what "Football is for Fans" gets you! Gentrify the game I say.
