thenodrog Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Surely folks aren't Surely you aren't so daft to believe that many of the Blackburn Enders aren't so daft as to have a go at Roque on Sunday!! As for Ooijer he's done well mainly out of position and I'm sure if we were not overflowing with centre halves that we'd keep him for another year. He'd still do a decent job for many clubs in the prem.
bubblerrovers Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I can see both Sides RSC has been a disgrace, Would be great If a deal was already in place for RSC then he could be boo'd out of Blackburn. We should play that David Bentley interview (wana play in the champions league one) over the tannoy for a good old laugh at the end
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Big Sam has spoken! WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ZAKI!
Fife Rover Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Maybe, but who's he going to choose? It's also bloody annoying that the Chelsea's of this world continue to poach the level of player Rovers might be interested leaving us to the freebies and bargain bin types! Yeah! And then to make matters worse they hardly ever use them; just like to add to their magnificent collection.
Blue n White Rover Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Anyone heard of Carlos Eduardo, plays for Hoffenheim, in German Bundesliga, Brazillian kid, in his 20's. Scored this weekend VS Bayern Munich. Looks a decent enough player from what I saw of him, has a decent pass and good shot. I've not seen much of him to make a comparison, wondering if anyone could shed any light?
kandi Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 According to Sam,if nobody hits the figure in Roques contract,he´s a Blackburn Rovers player and Sam would be delighted..really?
LeftWinger Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 According to Sam,if nobody hits the figure in Roques contract,he´s a Blackburn Rovers player and Sam would be delighted..really? Well it wouldn't be good business for Sam to come out and say we'll take any offer would it? He's playing hard-ball, and that's the best way to go about it. RSC will leave this summer, but I've got every confidence in the club to get a good price for him.
waggy Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 theres about as much chance of santa cruz being at ewood on sunday as me not sure about this one
gazsimm Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 theres about as much chance of santa cruz being at ewood on sunday as me your the same as Santa, Waggy, could not give a toss about Rovers!!! How any fan who supports Rovers, who can get to the game on sunday is not going are just idiots and not rovers fans deep down. Tugay is a legend at Blackburn Rovers football club and not to see him play his last game at Rovers is just unthinkable!!!

Paul Mellelieu Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 We know you aren't coming to EP during Allardyce's tenure, so why not give it a rest.
T4E Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 We know you aren't coming to EP during Allardyce's tenure, so why not give it a rest. Because idiots keep asking him if he's changed his mind! Agree with you though Paul, who gives a crap?
Manc Rover Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Wow at this rate it wll be league of nations at ewood this sunday. What is going to happen when Santa Cruz comes out. Hope peole dont boo him, he could be the one who single handedly ensures a good season next year. He still did a fabulous job last year. I expec him to get booed and you cant blame people either. He's taken the p*ss out of the club for the whole season. He certainly wont get a fond farewell!
gumboots Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 How do you boo santa Cruz and cheer Tugay if they walk round together at the end? Surely Santa Cruz is not daft and knows how fans feel about him without the need to spoil a Tugay celebration with any boos at all. We've all had a go at various players over the season but Sunday is about thanking the majority for their efforts in what has been a difficult season for the decent hardworking majority among them who do care about the club as much as any players do nowadays. If Santa Cruz has any sense he won't be around at the end then we can get on with enjoying the day and forget about him for the time being.

However, if he doesn't turn up, most the fans will slate him for not turning up! What is he meant to do?
Manc Rover Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 However, if he doesn't turn up, most the fans will slate him for not turning up! What is he meant to do? We should just turn our backs on him and not even acknowledge him being there. Although, booing inevitable.
Backroom DE. Posted May 21, 2009 Backroom Posted May 21, 2009 However, if he doesn't turn up, most the fans will slate him for not turning up! What is he meant to do? I'm not sure anyone would care. I certainly wouldn't.
Bennisfromheaven Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 However, if he doesn't turn up, most the fans will slate him for not turning up! What is he meant to do? .....stop going to the press & telling them how he wants out of our little club!?!?!
LeChuck Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 .....stop going to the press & telling them how he wants out of our little club!?!?! Surely it's a case of the press going to him? I doubt he thinks "I want out...I must tell the Paraguayan media!". He's their biggest sports star so he'll obviously get a lot of requests to do interviews, and being injured he will have had more time to do them. His mistake is not saying "no comment" or something along those lines. I think it would show a massive amount of disrespect for him not to turn up at all, I don't believe for a minute he'll do that. It's not like he was kicking and screaming in January, because he easily could have done, and lots of other foreign players would. It would be a huge, huge shame if it's presence spoiled what should be Tugay's day. Just ignore RSC.
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Is it my imagination or does Sam have a look on his face at the end of this video when they are talking about Zaki like, "you have no idea how special what we have lined up is"... Or is it me being silly.
