Most 18 year olds are easily out-muscled.

Hazard is a talent he already has 30+ app's for Lille, he'd also be home grown by 21 (possibly) if we signed him this year.

I'd be very happy if this was true.

Most skinny girly 18 year olds are easily out muscled. There are the very rare exceptions though...

Richards, Anderson, Wheater, Rooney (at 16), Bendtner... the list just goes on

The striker you are after is a 'before Roque goes' deal...not an 'after Roque goes deal.'

It won't break the bank, it is within the budget and it is pretty imaginative.

It has stayed quiet so far and needs to stay that way for a wee bit longer.

There could be other things going on, but this one looks the furthest down the road of any potential deal.

Excited by this, thanks Nicko. :rover:

I wonder what was the outcome of the meeting Sam had with the board earlier in the week, re his transfer budget.

If he's saying he will be happy if no one hit's the magical figure RSC contract, you would have to assume he's been given some amount to play with. The players we are looking to offload will just about pay for Givet.

The Santa Cruz comment wasn't designed to say anything about our capacity in the transfer market, it was a statement to his suitors that we won't be allowing him to leave on the cheap. When a player has acted in the way that Roque has for the majority of this season it tends to be to the detriment of his value, so Allardyce needed to make sure everyone else knows we still mean business and don't intend to budge from the price we were asking in January.

Sounds very promising! I like it :D

Nicko does say it has stayed quiet though which could rule out any hopes of it being Bojan.

If its within budget, i am assuming that it isn`t a loan option then ?

Will this be a 1st team player, or a bench warmer with potential ?

The word that sticks out for me above, is imaginative - this denote that it is surprising and is coming from left field ? or just an eyebrow raiser as its intuitive thinking :-)

Is it a signing that will have people rushing to sign up for the £199 season tickets ? Or is a player that will make people say "who" ?

Is that a joke? Or is this thread about players suitable for burnley next season??

He has 8 caps for Brazil since 2007! His goal scoring record, for his previous clubs, is brilliant. 103 in 148 appearances.
