Sam Allardyce has already made changes to the backroom staff at Ewood Park.

Ray Mathias and Archie Knox have been relieved of their duties. Karl Robinson is retained and Allardyce has appointed Neil McDonald as his Assistant Manager. McDonald previously worked with Allardyce at Bolton.

Rovers have called a press conference at 4.00pm to officially unvail Sam Allardyce.
