Straight away I thought he was a kid I'd read about from oldham who had some promise, its him.

Janko is lined up as a replacement, and we need to make a move as other clubs are interested.

Obviosly City are busy with other things, and didn't take the call.

SUGGESTION FOR THE MODS/ADMINS

Given the amount of traffic the site gets during summer/transfer windows purely based on the info Nicko posts, how about giving him a locked news posting thread with rss feeds off that thread. Then "lurkers" can simply look at their rss reader rather than constantly F5. Just a thought

You can already subscribe to the thread as an RSS feed (at least you can with one click in Opera ) although I have not sued it so don't know how good it is.....

Those people who just read it should perhaps just use the lo-fi version instead. Been reading it that way myself today (except for just now so i can post this) and it's perfectly fine to read, and you get more posts per page.

Anywho... Does Nicko know that the site is back up and running? We have missed our last 11 o'clocker Seen both £5m and £9m as the price for Janko - i'd much rather the former.

RIGHT BACK - Massive blow that Seitaridis did not play...Sam was at the game. Checking to see where they are this weekend - but this pursuit is a bit cursed after Chretien's game was called off last week.

JANKO - His agent has been over - he is Roque's most likely replacement - but the Austrians want a ridiculous £9 million. They're wealthy. They can ask what they want.

Bigger bandwidth is the answer, which is what is in the pipeline with the new server, I assume.

If it means financial support from the members so be it, having implemented it though we would more than likely lose all the visitors, so would probably not need it then.

Can I ask do you think they are bidding like this on purpose? delaying the deal till the last moment, putting us/others at a disadvantage due to time to get in replacements. We could sign a lot more than just a replacement for RSC with 18M, perhaps even up-grade on our current targets.

Moneys obviously not in short supply they are paying well over the odds for Kaka, but yet are not willing to cough up for Bellamy or RSC, somethings smells.

And BS going by private jet, according to an earlier post. Didn't know they had economy in private jets. Hope the cost has not come out of the transfer coffers.
