There will be an 11.30er...

Worth the wait.

Ooooh, you tease (and pants. I have to be up at 6 as usual). Now does it involve Rovers, and could it be good news?

As for Diouf, he could be a good addition to the squad, although he is a nob. £3.5m is a bit much though for someone who hardly plays for Sunderland.

I think it is a good deal. It could possibly described as a bit too much, but Sunderland know we are desperately short of creativity and I think they know we will pay that for him.

They have played us enough times to know our weaknesses. They probably realise it will strengthen us so are making us pay for it.

I think in a few months people will have grown to love him. Especially if he settles in quickly.

Oh yes.

nicko does his Churchill the dog impression.

Those who are suggesting making a move for Nolan clearly didn't watch the game last night....he was awful! Did he actually touch the ball?

Exactly - against what people said was a terrible 1st half performance from our boys, against the likes of Aandrews - he still didnt stand out. That says its own story - he is poor.

what are we gonna do now ? lump the ball up to spit, im amazed at the lack of inactivity in noticing that centre mid area is our weakest point, its worrying me to say the slightest! against bolton all we tried to do first half was lump the ball up to the strikers that wanted it to feet, we have to sign a creative player in centre mid or at least give carlos a chance to grow in the prem (in more ways than 1)

centre mids arent goood enough or reliable enough atm, all the talk over strikers annoys the hell outa me, if the present strikers dont get the ball played to them how they want it they wont score plain and simple.

Can I ask why is it a bid of around £6m+ (for some strikers we've been linked with) is regarded as such a balance-breaker, and only a possibility if we sell Roque for £20m? I mean, it's pretty shameful for a club that's had consecutive top-ten finishes. I know we're smaller in terms of revenue, fanbase, etc. but when was the last time we actually spent more than £5m on a player? I can't actually remember.

or maybe not

Christ man try some thinking for yourself. SAM IS NOT INFALLIBLE. (Far from it in fact.) Just because he's the manager of your team doesn't mean you have to agree with every single decision he makes, on playing styles or on transfers.

Your "MUST...TOW...THE LINE" attitude is incredible. You're the kind of person who will end up joining a cult.

His name is an anagram of SAM GIZM

Make of that what you will....
