philipl Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Hopefully we have screwed Sunderland through the floor on price because Mr charm and personality made it so impossible for him to stay on Wearside, they had to give him away.

DeadlyDirk Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Nolan has been below par for three to four years and terrible for the last two, ask any Bolton fan. They are probably delighted they got £4 million for him.
blue and whites Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 joey barton and scott parker are both good football players, but have suffered under injuries and stupid actions outside the field. butt are a decent player, which he showed several times at man utd. emre has also been set back because of injuries. he is a class act when in form, but i don't think the epl suites him. anyway, i hope we are in for a classy midtfielder, we need someone to threat the other teams defence.
DudeAbides Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 it really bugs me when a club says they have signed a player for a undissclosed fee. Why cant they just tell us? Do you know Nicko? Believed to be about 2m according to SSN.

He said "sad to see him (Nolan) go but more for sentiment or the time he's been here. cause lets face it; he's been crap for 2 seasons!"

nicko Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Bizarre one for the Burnley boys...and to save a dozen PMs...here it is. Gabor Kiraly to Bayer Leverkusen...probable debut against Borussia Dortmund tomorrow.

nicko Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Quick request for Portuguese chums...has Veloso been dropped for tomorrow's game and given a telling-off?
Eddie Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 So still legs on the Veloso transfer? If you talk to Allardyce could you ask him to make a move there?
Denis_B Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 He looks like he has a foot injury when he is playing........................ Well as Carew is back and Heskey was signed even if fit Marlene Wardrobe would have been out of the squad
leftfooter Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Nolan is pish at best. If things weren't bad enough already, Greggs the bakers in Bolton might have to start looking to make further cutbacks to boot...

super_arran Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Daily Mail gives us 1 out of 5 on the Crouch deal. PETER CROUCH (Portsmouth to Blackburn 1/5) Blackburn have identified the England striker as an ideal replacement for Roque Santa Cruz but Crouch is not keen on the move. Portsmouth, although strapped for cash, would still want an optimum fee for Crouch after paying £8m for him in the summer. They showed with the Defoe sale to Tottenham that they can be stubborn and they will have the same stance here with just three days of he window left. Crouch is also on high wages which Blackburn would struggle with.
DeadlyDirk Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 just a quick one. diouf signed an hour or two ago. at least! why cant he play on sunday??? He can, just isn't allowed to play on Saturday Unfortunately we don't have a game on Sunday. He needed to sign before 12 today to be eligible for otmorrow.

Oklahoma Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Quick request for Portuguese chums...has Veloso been dropped for tomorrow's game and given a telling-off? Yes, he was dropped for tomorrow's game once again.
BRFC1995 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 are there actually any quotes from the russian saying he does'nt rate us, as i can't find any. all i can find is the fact he has'nt played the75% of games required for a permit without an appeal that would likely be successful. all the reports i've read say there is not enough time, but sams intimated that we had bid on tuesday, the ruskies have said we bid.....so everyone knew what time they had to play with. i just want to see quotes from this guy to prove the deal is dead, i really hope its not.
The Prof. Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Given going to Citeh helps us. I believe Diouf was very cheap - sub £1m, Could be wrong though.
Billy Castell Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I'd also like confirmation that the deal with Prognoyak (sorry I have forgotten how to spell it) is off. He could be good. And please don't tell me we have been linked to Harewood. He is utter turd. I'd also like to know what sort of player Veloso is, and whether he is good. If he is good, then if Bolton fancy their chances in signing him, then we should look at this.
