Zoro could be right...if Emerton is injured in a big way.

Can't see any reason in signing him unless there has been a casualty down the right.

Got a bad feeling Bert is going to be out for a long time, huge, huge blow is true.

Isn't it time we put an end to the Roque speculation once and for all, put out a concrete statement that he is going nowhere this window? Hardly any timeleft for a replacement for Roque (i don't think Crouch, Bent are the answer) and no time left to strengthen in other areas with the rest of the Roque money either.

What about the Egyptian winger?

HE has claimed he is going to sign on loan.

NO interest in Tchite as reported yesterday?

Blackburn interested in Tchite from Racing

Translated into english:"Mohamed Tchité, the attacker's Racing Santander, Blackburn Rovers are interested.

In search of an extra attacker, Blackburn Rovers considering Mohamed Tchité (25, Racing Santander), which should be observed to face FC Barcelona on Sunday. Under contract until June 2012, the former Anderlecht falls more in the plans of Spanish leaders. After the help of Nikola Zigic, Racing Santander needs degreasing to rebalance their accounts."

Nicko, one for you. A few spurs fans here think that Redknapp might give City something to think about, by offering Rovers cash + Lennon + Jenas or Bent. In turn City will offer straight 25mill as a last effort to finally land Cruz. Is there any truth in this, is Rednapp going to or at least trying to force City's hand for some obscure reason?

nicko: i know it is tribalfootball which is one of the most inreliable sources out there, but they say they have agreed a deal with zenith regarding progrebnyak if santa is being sold..

iceman: that offer sounds to good to be true, would say yes at once, what at swap deal that would be, using the money on a new striker as well. really want some new energy in this club

Its spurs fans who said that, dont think its true either but just sharing what they said. I will be seriously annoyed come 16:59 tomorrow and they announce Cruz to either City or Spurs. And if we havent lined up anybody to replace him at 16:59 then ill be even more spitting mad!

I'd be very happy with that providing the other £10 million was made available to Allardyce in the summer for transfers. Given how much of the Bentley money they've kept, surely 100% of any Roque fee should be available to Sam?

I agree AND he has to buy an offensive midfielder with the ability to play on the wings.

We have been saying this for ages.... it is really depressing.

We sold Bentley and Freidal for a combined 12m. We brought in Grella (4m), Andrews (1m), Villaneuva (1m loan), Diouff (2m), Robinson (3m). So the net spend is about 1m profit! Not a penny of the TV money has gone in...

Part of the problem is that our squad is so massive. We are carrying quite a lot of wages at the moment.

Hull City ARE pulling off one of the deals of the window...great name.

Hoping that one keeps.

No pleading PMs theythinkitsallrover.

Lips sealed.

I would think Newcastle, West Brom, Stoke and Middlesbrough are better reasons to fear that one won't happen.

Good imaginate signing by Hull all the same.

Phil Brown may be his own number one fan, but this is good thinking.

Does he Score Goals Nicko as the song goes

Sorry for butting in Lads

About 40...in 500 games.

;)

I was thinking Paul Scholes for a moment when the song was brought up!! But for one I don't think he'll be swapping another premiership title, possible european title among others for a relegation battle plus he has well over 100 goals.

Umm who else is ancient and picks up a few goals, Gary Speed? Not exactly mouthwatering haha

IT BETTER NOT BE TUGAY!!!!! Lol

Any new on the egyptian nicko or did that one collapse? He seemed to think he was coming.

I think it is Panucci, he has 450 games and around 40 ish goals.

On Santa Cruz, I heard that City have offered 16 million plus a choice of players...

Whose choice....theirs or ours? "OK Citeh, let's see now....I know; we'll have Sturridge, and Robinho. That gives us cover for Derbs as well!.......oh alright then ; if you insist we will throw in Rigters too; take it or leave it".
