nicko Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Nicko, any ideas who the clubs are who have had bids for dos santos accepted? SSN. Thought may possibly be rovers related due to crouchie The Dos Santos tosh will be from his agents who have love-struck puppies at Sky. Why would Portsmouth want him? Why would anyone want someone who has failed to come off in the Premier League right now? There are a dozen teams fighting for their lives...he is the wrong type.

jim mk2 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hopefully the midfield crisis will see Carlos play some more games, and he'll be the Messiah we all hoped he would be since we first saw him on YouTube! CV is a good footballer but he cannot play in the Prem because he cannot run. Probably before your time but the great Ferenc Puskas would struggle to play in the modern game too for the same reason.
Exiledfan Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Joe Ledley or Chris McCann (or both) Stoke bound?
Ewood and I Would Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Indeed Allardyce's teams in the past have been known to bypass midfield quite often. <-- Complain about that statement if you like, but it's a fact. A fact, must be then http://www.goal.com/en/news/742/blackburn/...ng-ball-accusat
PAFELL Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I would go through the list... No-one in the Champions League teams or contenders is going to let you have a player. No-one in the relegation fight is going to let you have a player. No-one in the Championship is worth buying. IS THIS THE BURNLEY BAD NEWS? No-one from abroad can get here. I would then give him the number of Samaritans.

Seemed like a strange signing by spurs and would be even stranger in every ones predicament now. You never know, barca might have seen the error of their ways and are desperate to sign him back.... oh wait, not every team is like spurs

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 It's all Sky Agents. Strokey Strokey give us a wave!

donis1410 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 No offense but I'd assume BFS would be looking for a little more than common sense; I'd like to think he already has that. That advice would have been useful to Ince though P.S Why do you have the Samaritians number out of interest? He does like Burnley you know!!!!!!!!

SSN reporting Bentley may be going to Inter Milan - seems extremely unlikely in my view - do Rovers have a sell on clause with regards to Bentley?
jonv Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I don't see Emerton has a huge loss, It'd be stupid to shell out any cash in this inflated market when we have perfect cover as it is; We have a fit and raring to go Aaron Mokoeana.
Bobby G Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 No way we took 17 million and a sell on clause. It looks like Bentley for Quaresma then if thats true...
LeChuck Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 do Rovers have a sell on clause with regards to Bentley? Don't be daft - we only pay those.
Mr Maureen Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 1305: BBC Radio 5 Live is reporting that Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz is staying at Ewood Park. So you "Still love Blackburn Rovers"do you Mr Cruz. Get your head down forget Man City and start re paying the club you love.
Presty On Tour Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I cant believe Spurs signing all their players back
BuckyRover Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 SSN reporting Bentley may be going to Inter Milan - seems extremely unlikely in my view - do Rovers have a sell on clause with regards to Bentley? He will be really good in Serie A. Beckham is doing brilliantly over there at the moment. Pace is less of an issue. Which I think is Bentleys weakness in England. I doubt we have a sell on. We only use clauses to damage ourselves.
EwoodGlory Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 What's the Burnley bad News then? Coyle looked happy enough on SSN.
PAFELL Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Everyone's snowed in. Er not everybody is snowed in, down here on the lovely, normally lovely weather area of the south coast. We have snow on the pebble beach and some silly sod has gone swimming in the sea - I have heard of maing use of the weather - but!!!!!! No way we took 17 million and a sell on clause. It looks like Bentley for Quaresma then if thats true... What with clubs like city and spurs throwing silly money about, it would be daft not to do so.
nicko Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 The Burnley bad news has been avoided...managed to price a player out of a Premier League move. And got £80,000 for being on Setanta tomorrow night with the Arsenal game off. Merry Christmas, every one.

mattyboy6000 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Err...no. Why do you think teams are trying to rush through deals today? err, not quite.... Outside of the transfer windows, any club may still sign players on an emergency basis (such as if they had no goalkeepers available) with the permission of their competition's governing body, ie the Premier League. Players who are out of contract and do not have a club, can be signed outside of the transfer window if they are unattached free agents when the window closes.
