braddock Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Will be gutted to see him go, but would love to see what Sam can do with£20+ million (if he gets it) sign a lot of bolton players?

ScottishRover Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 sign a lot of bolton players? I think he will do better than that, all that is, is lazy journalism. Tho i wouldnt mind Ben Haim and Diouf especially for the £££ mentioned. Complete faith in Sam
rover6 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 How 'bout Tony McMahon from Boro to solve our RB problems? Just a name I've plucked out of the air (having read a rumour about another Champ loan move). When McMahon first broke into the Boro team, pre-injuries, he looked a really good player. Obviously, his propensity to break down would be a concern. Okay, I let the horror stories featuring Vampire Diouf and Absconding Santa continue.
colbert Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 If this story is true http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4734782,00.html i hope Sam has a quiet word in his ear, i would of thought he would of learnt his lesson by now, its seems clear now that RSC does have his hopes on a big pay rise, i dont see any other reason for it. IMO. Thats if this story is true........
accyrover Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Footballers seem to remind me more and more of my two year old when he doesn't get his own way. Sulk and strop. RSC needs to keep his gob shut. Sam won't like all this mouthing off by him (probably with his agent whispering in his ear). Accyrover.
CornishRover Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 SSN now reporting that RSC misquoted - it should've read he's happy at Rovers...wish SSN would shut up - never mind anyone else!! Footballers seem to remind me more and more of my two year old when he doesn't get his own way. Sulk and strop. RSC needs to keep his gob shut. Sam won't like all this mouthing off by him (probably with his agent whispering in his ear). Accyrover.
Manc Rover Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Whatever he's said or hasn't said, it's all getting rather tedious! I think he will do better than that, all that is, is lazy journalism. Tho i wouldnt mind Ben Haim and Diouf especially for the £££ mentioned. Complete faith in Sam Ben Haim - yes please Spit - no thanks
Mr. E Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Santa Cruz has been gone since the summer, that should have been obvious to everyone. The only thing I hope though is that the money actually goes for transfers, and doesn't just disappear like the Bentley and Duff cash. We need it.

The only thing I hope though is that the money actually goes for transfers, and doesn't just disappear like the Bentley and Duff cash. We need it. I hope he doesn't, he is a quality player and once the transfer window is shut and he is still here then, i think he will get stuck in. Regardless wether money is spent on players it all helps to keep the club going.

Bobby G Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 WTF is up with Roque and talking to radio stations every single day and making things worse and worse...
philipl Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 WTF is up with Roque and talking to radio stations every single day and making things worse and worse... RSC is as big a star in Paraguay as Beckham is over here- so of course he is subject to the sort of intense media interest Blackburn folk aren't used to.

ebenrocks Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 No frucking Way! i concur... money grabbing basta.....
Blueandwhitemike Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I'd be happy to have Neill he is a very good player
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 No frucking Way! Take away his previous history (please don't beat me up on this one) - but he would be a good purchase.
bazza Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I wouldn't have Lucas Neill back, especially on 50K a week. We're in a recession ffs where money is tight. There must be other younger right backs available, surely.
Bobby G Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Is that the bit on us? Im not sure if this means he joins now or in the summer, but Id take him back personally. Depends on who the alternatives are but on a free transfer he would be a good bit of business wouldnt he? He was always committed, if sometimes suicidal in his defending. A good right back, although I rate Brett higher in that position.
