ROQUE - I hear Man City are doing business today...but not hearing Roque's name being mentioned much...we could know more later on.

Bellamy or Parker, mayhaps? Would like Bellamy back in the Rovers shirt, but there is absolutely no chance of that happening seeing the price tag West Ham have slapped on him.

It seems like a really difficult window to do business in, doesn't it. I mean Wigan won't get into Europe and are very unlikely to go down. Therefore it's strange how they wont part with a squad player in this window before his contract runs out. The chap seems keen on a move judging by articles written.

I think Bruce may still be annoyed by the Savage saga.

What a disgraceful headline! Nobody has done more for or stood by Matt Jansen that BRFC. We are now being villified for giving him yet another chance to resurrect his career! Wtf is our PR dept going to do about this...... or do I already know the answer? Thinking more about it Jansen should really be the one correct the insinuations not us. Its no wonder we are regarded so little of in English football is it? :angry:

Not got that line-up yet...Givet NOT playing - he does not need to have trial, looks the dog's.

I think Givet will be involved fast, maybe the FA Cup tie with Sunderland rather than the Newcastle game.

Nicko, you say he looks the dogs.......... Who would you compare him with playing the the Prem at the moment Just to give us an idea of what we have got first hand. Cheers.

Quite how Alan Nixon is claiming an exclusive in the Daily Mirror on Tuesday with the news that Hugo Rodallega has received a work permit to join Wigan is way beyond Mediawatch. We read it on the PA newswire at 3.15pm on Monday afternoon.

Ignore them mate, We appreciate everything you give us on here! B)

Will you get the line up from today's game or is it wait and see? Also do you know what Jansen's intentions are now?

I hear his fitness is excellent which is a plus as he has not played this season. But he is a young guy and has a point to prove.

This could be a coup.

He will need a game - maybe a ressie run-out - but I believe he is ready for the Sunderland tie and that may be the plan.

Is it just me, or had anyone else never heard of Ryan Taylor ?

Which, for a Premiership player, and the fact he's only made 50 odd appearances for Wigan since July 2005, suggests to me he's not up to that much.

Not at all bothered if that doesn't happen.

Id heard of him. He was promising at Tranmere when he was younger. He was badly injured a couple of years ago (broken leg I think), explaining his limited number of appearances for wigan.

A steady Eddie ? we already have a few of those that can play in that position - Reidy(injured i know) and Emerton, is it an improvment on them, and more importantly, can he put in a decent cross and provide some service !

For me, Reidy is finished at Premier League level. Injuries and the increased pace of the Premiership appear to have done for him. Best thing in my mind is to get him fit and ship him off to a Championship club for a million or so

as for Nugent, again I don't rate him at this level. For one his confidence has certainly declined since being at nobend and he seems lightweight.

Excited to se something of Givet after what I've read on here, be superb if we could add a little attacking flair in this window.

Nicko, any word on a new Tugay? ;)
