John Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 What exactly happened at that interview? He had no staff, no transfer targets. How could it have been convincing? Ince said he had at least two interviews before being given the job as well. Would love to have been a fly on the wall!! Ya know.

waggy Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Indeed and very commendable waggy but you seem similarly intransigent in your opinion and odd support of Paul Ince. As we all know Paul Ince has proven to be a total dud as a manager and his ineptitude may well yet be the undoing of BRFC as a Premier League team. Looking back all Ince ever did and every major decision he made in hindsight seemed to have been done to anger and disappoint the supporters. If he actually wanted sacking in record time he couldn't have made a better job of it. Can you explain why? well if rovers lose their premier league place this season alladice will be as responsible as ince,i was for giving paul ince a chance,he has left .but i will never warm to big fat sam
yoda Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 well if rovers lose their premier league place this season alladice will be as responsible as ince,i was for giving paul ince a chance,he has left .but i will never warm to big fat sam Not when the damage had been done before he arrived, he has taken over a side in the bottom 3, Ince took over a side in the top 7
waggy Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Not when the damage had been done before he arrived, he has taken over a side in the bottom 3, Ince took over a side in the top 7 he should be able to steady the side, and win 27pts in half a season if he is such a great manager
thenodrog Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 he should be able to steady the side, and win 27pts in half a season if he is such a great manager 27 points eh? Do I need to remind you that your choice of manager did not manage HALF that total of 27 points in his half of the season! I don't know how Allardyce will fare but I do know that Ince's performance was disastrous. Waggy you really are becoming increasingly daft in your stance. By now you must be wishing for Rovers to lose in order to prove your point. It's your only road to redemption.
T4E Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Not like you to feed the troll Gordon. Waggy is pissing himself at all the people replying to his deliberately daft ramblings.
broadsword Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Hats off to waggy, it takes some going to wind thenodrog up, it's normally him winding everyone else up.

Waggy you do talk absolute rubbish, firstly you told us there was no way Ince would leave before summer no matter what and secondly you told us there was no way Sam was coming to Rovers. Surely you don't expect us to take anything you say seriously?

Surely you don't expect us to take anything you say seriously? i can,t be held responsible for jw havinge no backbone,as for alladice coming to the rovers it shows how desperate he was to get back into football,i would never apply for a job again if i had been looked over the first time.but then again you will believe he turned us down in the summer
