Big Sam's effects on Rovers since Ince left:

1) MASSIVE improvement on defence, before the likes of Robinho, Ireland and SWP would have torn us apart as Ince would have gone with an all out gung-ho attack thus leaving defence expose.

2) We look to defend first then attack not vice-versa

3) Everyone knowing their position and playing as a team than an individual

4) Last but not least, we're actually looking like the old Rovers, the one who can win

An impressive first half performance.................we haven't let City play. Rovers the first to the 50-50 balls each time. I'm glad Roberts "made" the goal.

A bit like last year.............City looked like taking us apart for the first few minutes - but we eventually settled and dominated.
