Why did they give the FA Cup to ITV anyway? Their coverage is pants, they only have one decent commentator, and all you see is Andy Townsend trying to grab two minutes of analysis before another ad-break.

And why the hell aren't they covering our game!? Good for nuthins...

Not sure if anyone on here is going tomorrow, but this was posted on official:

Hi,

I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Colin Corner and I am Secretary and bar chairman of Blyth Rugby Club.

The club is situation on Plessey Road around 200 yards from the Blyth Spartans ground

You will be made to feel very welcome if you would like to join us for a drink on Monday, especially since we a Rugby Club and therefore are not partisan towards Blyth Spartans.

We can cater for around 200 people in 2 rooms, we have Sky and Setanta on TV.

We have ample car parking space and can open up whenever you guys want us to.

Beer prices are considerably cheaper than the Joiners, Masons, etc.

The Bournemouth Fans came in last time and had a great time.

If you need any more info reply to this post and I will give you more details.

Let's hope not - just found where we're going for tea!

Fish and Chips in Whitley Bay ... :)

edit - BBC forecast - sunshine all day, a high of 5 C and a low of only -1 ... if they can't get the game on in those conditions there's something wrong ... plus they won't want to risk losing the TV money. Game on I say.

The game will be on.

It rained last night, and it is cold, but no frost or ice this morning.

As it's a televised game the FA have provided pitch covers, which must be on the pitch for the 3 days run up to the game.

If needed later the club have pitch heaters.

Nervous for some reason about this game! I've just got a horrible feeling it could all go pear shaped........ Not able to make the game, but looking forward to seeing it on the television tonight (I think!).

i'm flying over from australia for this one and am staying at the blyth arms so hopefully a win will keep the cold out of my blue and white heart!
