Firstly, I hope this is the right place to put this in.

My cousin and husband are living in the States and have a Wii Console.

Now as a thank you present I am going to get them a Wii game off of the internet but does anyone know if it will work in on their American console?

The American Wii games are NTSC compatible and the UK Wii games are PAL. So they wouldn't work.

You could try buying them a game from an American site and getting them to deliver it to their address for example using Amazon.com.
