I thought it was a pretty good signing, and it still might be, but the first half 'performance' from Diouf is among the worst I've seen in a long time. Attacks stop when the ball gets to him, every time.

Warnock has been good, but apart from that not many positives. Our passing is awful and has been all season long. So many attacks that come to nothing because of horrible attempts at passes. If we can at the very least get a cross or shot from every attack we'd be far better off. Even a poor shot or cross, who knows where the ball will bounce.

Get Diouf off. Bring on McCarthy, Dunn, Villanueva or Treacy... heck bring on Zurab and put Samba up front, I don't care. At least we won't be 10v12 then.

I thought the same about him against Everton but a few here thought he had a good game.

Well that half was pretty grim viewing, I don't think I've ever seen a football match where the ball's spent so long up in the air. We seem to have most of the ball when it's on the deck - albeit as soon as a player gets it it's hit high towards Roberts or Pedersen to try and win a knock down or flick on - but Fulham are definitely the classier side in possession. A few half chances but nothing to really speak of, probably the best of which came from our one attack down Fulham's left, when Warnock worked himself a shooting opportunity and hit the post after a good run by Roberts. All our other play has come from long balls down Fulham's right aimed at unsettling Pantsil and Gera. I can't say it's been too effective apart from winning the odd corner. Tugay's misplaced at least 50% of his passes, but this really isn't a game for him. Fulham's goal was a bit lucky, a Samba header out got headed back in and it dropped between him and Nelsen allowing Dempsey to get in and score. It didn't look too clever and I think Robinson could have made more of an effort to get to the ball before him too. All-in-all we can probably get something out of this with a little more quality - I agree with Modes that Dunn and McCarthy are badly needed. Fingers crossed eh?

According to the BBC stat thing Andrews is currently our best player. The others really need to take a look at themselves. I like Andrews for the tenacity he provides in midfield but he should probably not be our highest rated player.

For all the people who slate Andrews (and this is not a dig at you!)...

If we had a team of Keith Andrews we would not be in this mess!

Yeah. After watching Bellamy, Cruz and Bentley over the past few seasons it's a sign of the times that we're trying to get excited over Diouff's mediocre offerings.

Come on Rovers FFS!!
