1864roverite Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 As it stands there are 6 coaches travelling from Ewood Wednesday compared to the one for the original. Fulham are up for it, Rovers have to be up for it. Interesting stats for the results of midweek games. Long may it continue

robbojohnno Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Im on the 7th coach, went to the first game so hopefully this game will go ahead...
mellison24 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Yeah he scored, and I think Stead and Jon Douglas scored good goals too! We went on a great run after this game and beat Utd at home in the next game (i think) yeh we did, 1-0. flitcroft volley if memeory serves me correctly
Presty On Tour Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 yeh we did, 1-0. flitcroft volley if memeory serves me correctly I think Jon Stead scored on the last 10 mins?
American Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Yep, I'm pretty sure you're right Presty. One of my favorite players, Steady.
Brownie Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 the game is on in a pub near me Must have the same box as me !!
14May1995 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Does anyone know if the two for one deal on match tickets is still available? I went down to Fulham for the original postponed fixture but I didn't buy tickets beforehand. I intended to pay on the gate. It wasn't until I got back that I read Mansfield Blue's post (#61) about the two for one deal. I've just tried entering the TMPDEALS passcode into the Ticketmaster site but it doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know whether there is a new code which will enable me to buy two for one tickets please? Thanks in advance. For the late bookers, or those paying cash, TMPDEALS is working on ticketmaster. That's the "driver" sorted for only £4.62 after booking fees.
WaffleWag Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 A repeat would be greatfully appreciated!! Fulham 3 - 4 Rovers Click Here I know I would appreciate a simpel 0-2 victory more
Tango Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I know I would appreciate a simpel 0-2 victory more We managed that a few years ago away to Fulham - might have been the last time Paul Gallagher scored a competitive goal in a blue-and-white shirt actually.
mckenny16 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 We managed that a few years ago away to Fulham - might have been the last time Paul Gallagher scored a competitive goal in a blue-and-white shirt actually. Even though we in an away kit!!
Stonesrick Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Robbo, Brown, Dunn, Grella and CRUZ all doubtful for Fulham game Visit My Website
LeChuck Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Robbo, Brown, Dunn, Grella and CRUZ all doubtful for Fulham game Visit My Website Sam says Grella is definitely out. That's really bad news though, I wonder what sort of team we'll put out if they're all unavailable? ..............Bunn Ooijer Samba Nelsen Givet ...........Mokoena ......Andrews..Warnock ..Diouf..............Pedersen ............Roberts Not actually as bad as I was expecting, at least no-one is out of position. Not keen on Roberts up there but if McCarthy is overweight (as the recent news story suggests) then we can't be starting with him.
CAPT KAYOS Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 This is pointing in all directions to 0 v 0 draw especially if we set out as Allardyce suggested they would be doing against Everton ( Sit tight - try and nick it with one or two chances. ) So unless we have a ten minute spell ala Hull don't expect extertainment. Rovers - one up front , main goalscorer on the right wing , misfiring Striker up front , non existent midfield, team that needs countless chances to score one. Foolham - decent home record , need to stop the mini home rot not great goalscorers either. Yep - 4 v 3 it is then to the Rovers

That's how I had it planned in my mind if none of the injured ones make it. Just hope Jason has not lost his confidence and that the Mind Guru can work his magic!
Manc Rover Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I think Jon Stead scored on the last 10 mins? Yeah Stead scored from a slide rule pass from Gallagher. I remember getting excited about these 2 playing up-front but it was a false dawn in the end! Flitty scored the winner the season before for what it's worth.
Duff's Minder Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Has anyone actually seen Bunn play? I'm bloody nervous about this one, Arsenal seem to be getting their act together and 3 points here looks like a necessity. Anyone know if the team are staying in London till Saturday or if they're going up and down the M6 twice?
Hughesy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Dunn & Grella are a waste of space and both should take 50% pay cuts!! Bunn will be ok in goal, he's better than brown. Id go with a 4-5-1 too but not with Noberts upfront. -----------------Bunn---------------- Ooijer--Nelsen--Samba--Givet----- -----------Mokoena------------------ --------Andrews--Warnock--------- Diouf----------------------Pedersen -------------Benni--------------------
alexanders Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 What about Tugay? Could make the difference and I don't think Fulham has the best midfield available. I am happy that we don't have to play against the Blackburn killer Bullard.
Hughesy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 That Etuhu and Murphy have been very good recently. Im not sure Tugay would be much good against them?!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Away from home with a depleted squad - 4-5-1 is the way to go. And err, guys? Who is gonna be the substitute goalie? Booby Mimms? Too many players out for me, I'd guess a loss here. Bunn Ooijer--Samba--Nelsen--Givet Mokoena (subbed at HT for Tugay) Diouf--Andrews--Warnock--Pedersen Roberts McCarthy to come on late-ish and link the midfield.
Kinx Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Am also on the 7th coach going from Ewood after getting as far as the 8 Bells last time out! Had a real struggle to get the day off but finally organised...big thanks to the lad who has swapped his leave with me!
Backroom DE. Posted March 10, 2009 Backroom Posted March 10, 2009 4M+ for Grella... he's going to be up there with Grabbi and Davies in the Hall of Shame.
martmitch Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 important to pick up points here as both pompey and newcastle have winnable fixtures at the weekend. Assuming a loss against arsenal, if results go badly for us at the weekend we could be 4 points from safety lets hope fulham play worse than they did against united and arsenal have a shocker although I think we just missed their slump and they are looking quite rampant again!
