neekoy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Seen it before, shock horror bloke retaliates when verbally abused. Hang him. I wouldn't expect any less, I don't understand how he is "vile", that wasn't even a prank call, that was just two ###### giving abuse to a football player over the phone. Hardly clever, hardly funny.
alexanders Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 He's a disgrace. check this before you sing his praises He's vile is it 100% certain that actually is Diouf? Doesn't sound like him
CrazyIvan Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 is it 100% certain that actually is Diouf? Doesn't sound like him I wondered that myself this morning. I didn't have a term of reference though...
Guest andrewpickup Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 the fact that he gets the better of some wind up merchants? i love him for being a character, he has not done anything that bad, jesus if we based our football tastes on character there would not be many left
John Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Blackburn forward El-Hadji Diouf has been interviewed by police following allegations made by a ball-boy at Sunday's Barclays Premier League match with Everton at Goodison Park.
dazmaz Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Blackburn forward El-Hadji Diouf has been interviewed by police following allegations made by a ball-boy at Sunday's Barclays Premier League match with Everton at Goodison Park. the linesman would of heard such things wouldnt he? when the ball went out for a throw in it looked like EHD was chatting to the linesman to me
Bobby G Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 He is a far better player playing in 4-5-1. Great technique and calmness on the ball.
thenodrog Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Moyes uses the ball boys at Goodison as a tactic. I first noticed their tricks when Rooney was still playing for them. Scandalous and straight out of Moyes's mentor John Becks manual of dirty tricks. It's high time that matter was brought to light.
rover6 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Would you call it dirty tricks if we did it? Sadly, football is a game for hypocrites. Pees me off, so bad. Maybe Diouf isn't guilty this time but I can't stand the prat's attention-seeking behaviour. The sooner we find a right winger to oust him from the team, the better, for me, anyway. At least Savage had some self-awareness; he could laugh at himself. And Bellamy could score stunning goals. Diouf has no redeeming feature, in my mind.
John Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 More on the incident here: Craig Bellamy and El-Hadji Diouf may argue that their reputation as troublemakers unfairly precedes them but both players could be in hot water with the Football Association this morning after unsavoury incidents at Old Trafford and Goodison Park. Oh and if found guilty, it is likely he would receive a 2-3 game ban at least. Being one of our better players this season, not ideal. However, as we are likely to pasted in all games (barring the Burnley one) in October, it might not fall at the worst time.
Backroom Tom Posted September 20, 2009 Backroom Posted September 20, 2009 Absolutely ridiculous, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist both ways but the phrase 'White boy' is far from racist language
waggy Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 i said when he joined that this scum bag would drag our club into the gutter, does he not know he is a guest in our great country.sonner he and his mate lardarse go the better
Amo Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Would you call it dirty tricks if we did it? Sadly, football is a game for hypocrites. Pees me off, so bad. Couldn't agree with you more. It's why the game is growing more obnoxious by the week for me. The game has become overly competitive due to the money involved, that integrity is now a thing of the past.
roversmum Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Load of rubbish. Pity plod haven't got something better to do.
Blackpool_Rover Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 as we are likely to pasted in all games (barring the Burnley one) in October I fear a lot of people on this board are in for a big shock regarding that one.I for one am worried, very worried infact
boris bear Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Absolutely ridiculous, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist both ways but the phrase 'White boy' is far from racist language Am I the only person who is surprised that the first part of the remark seems to be deemed acceptable but the second part isn't?
thenodrog Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Been on the news all day. Storm in a teacup imo. After watching on TV I've a feeling the scummy scally chav tried to throw the ball into his knackers. Oh and there's no chance of it being deemed racist, it's impossible EHD's a black fella.
roversmum Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Those ball boys need a slap anyway. Little oik in front of us insisted on trying to provoke our fans when Everton scored. Was spoken to twice by stewards but took no notice. Strange too how the Everton players ran straight over to the away fans to celebrate one of their goals. By that time I was too fed up to care, but still...
broadsword Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Absolutely ridiculous, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist both ways but the phrase 'White boy' is far from racist language You must be joking? If I snarled "eff off black lad" at a ball boy, I'm sure that would be seen as racist. El Hadji Diouf is an appealing character, isn't he? He may take a lot of stick, but he certainly dishes some out as well. He's a proper charmer (regardless of whether these allegations are substantiated).
roversmum Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 It's probably the sort of remark that would have been made where he comes from. I've heard similar many times in Trinidad and Tobago. Where we might say '.... off, boy'*! they would say what Diouf did. Fuss about nothing imho. *(or in my case, 'go away, boy')
mellison24 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I wish he would get away from our club. some would say the same to you re: the messageboard. But anyway, he's done ONE ALLEGED thing wrong. I'll bet my life savings (currently 10quid39p) that he didn't say anything bad and people accused him of racism whatever escaped his lips, just because of who he is.
Guest andrewpickup Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 i said when he joined that this scum bag would drag our club into the gutter, does he not know he is a guest in our great country.sonner he and his mate lardarse go the better thats racist! ' our country'? you dont have any more right to it than me , dioufy, anyone. were you born british passport in hand? you are disgraceful. how can I report this racism?
Hughesy Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 i said when he joined that this scum bag would drag our club into the gutter, does he not know he is a guest in our great country.sonner he and his mate lardarse go the better Racism isnt wanted on here Waggy!!! He probably called him a scouse prick or something, which will be classed as racism. Im suprised the assistant didnt hear it though as he was inbetween the player and ball boy - think its just the reaction of the crowd that has caused this......
