Nelsen puts record straight - (Id post a link but the webpage link thing doesnt appear to be working correct)

But Nelsen has since come clean about the incident telling reporters there was an argument - but no blows were traded.

The Kiwi said he told Diouf to take a look at himself after going off at a couple of players for not performing and also admitted he feels sorry for the controversial player

Good & Good news? Im glad Sam is boss and not you.

Who would play right wing? We have been lacking a right winger since Bentley went, we finally get one and now you want rid? Some people!

Anyway its tribal.....enough said  The same site running ANOTHER article on the Everton spat with Diouf. Think they must have it in for him!

Good, he served his purpose last season, this season hes been poor, time to move on for Diouf and then everyone will be happy.

Are you serious? He's one of our most effective players. He's guaranteed to give 100% every outing. How much would we get for him and who would we replace him with?????

I don't like him as a person, but what I do like id his attitude on the pitch whilst wearing a Rovers shirt.

Exactly mate.... and as a person if you ever meet him, hes a great laugh! He is a Blackburn End favourite already and he was one of the key things that kept us up!!

Good news if there is something in it. Don't like him as a man and don't rate him as a player. He's lost all his pace and offers next to no goal threat.

I'm in full agreement. It's time we gave Junior a chance. We have needed pace like his for a long time.

You're the disgrace and the w**ker for that matter. Doeuf is a very clever player and works that right-wing very hard and effectively. He has years of Premier League experience and we need it.Not sure why it matters to a non -fan like you though.

Throw enough mud and some will stick! You never give up trying to turn the knife into Allardyce do you? I've been away but I presume you've been rather quiet this week?

Keeping to football matters, which IS what counts and virtually all that matters to most of us... Diouff has a very good cross on him, has a football brain and though he has lost a lot of pace has the very valuable quality of being very comfortable in possession and very difficult for the opposition to disposses. He is a great 'out' for the team when we are stretched and in disarray. I don't want to twist knives but all those qualities are most definitely absent in one of your current favourite players waggy.

Didn't think he had that great a game against the dingles, often noticed him drifting into the centre, looking really sluggish and almost got caught out a few times in possession. Also thought he killed off a few of our moves by passing the ball back to the keeper instead of looking forward.

Overall though i think he's been a bargain for the money we paid for him and have been happy with his contribution.

I'd like to see Hoilett given a real go in the team, he has pace and skill but needs games to develop his game further. Personally i'd like to see Diouf moved to the left for a game or two and play Hoilett on the right. Problem though i guess is that Pedersen had a decent enough game against the dingles and will be viewed as undroppable by Sam and some fans, but still IMO he looks a million miles off the player he once was.

One of our most EFFECTIVE players ? Is He really ? The last two game hes been anything but effective.

I havent posted in the Chelsea match thread, but what I was going to post was if Diuof starts against Chelsea then its only down to the weakness of the squad and a managers favourite because hes done nothing to justify starting.

Jacobsen has had no support or protection whatsoever in the last two games Diouf obviously has problems with fellow team mates and the story i've been told of Diouf and MaCarthy leaving the Dundee gound pre season is nothing short of a disgrace, i'd bomb both players out of the club asap.

I'm split on this one, I like the Dioufster and think he offers a lot to the team BUT if we could make a tidy enough profit on him and Sam thinks Junior is capable of filling that role it would be better for the future and our 'war chest' to let him go.

I'd happily have Hoilett on the right with a few extra quid to throw at getting Di Santo permanently theoretically (never gonna happen though)

The only way I would keep Diouf is if we shifted Pedersen and put Diouf on the left. He could at least compensate for his lack of pace there and maybe score a few more goals. At the very least we need to start taking him or Pedersen off for Junior in more games.

I will accept Diouf is good at holding the ball and he can cross but for someone of his (supposed) age to have lost all his pace is a disgrace. Think he has spent a few too many nights out at the 50 cent lookalike competition.

Regardless of everything else he is a complete tit as well...

We need to think further than our noses about a player "doing a job". Team harmony is important as is the Rovers Brand. Diouf needs to be knocking in 20 goals a season to counter the baggage he carries around. He's a gold plated journeyman who helped last season. Lets look at a longer term solution and get some money for him in January.

Well, if he's to go in January someone has to make an offer for him first...

Now we all know Diouffy likes nothing better than a bit of publicity so I'd take his comments with a pinch of salt! What will be will be as someone I can't remember said.
