Nobody likes smart arse, but me and Waggy told you so......... :P

The guy is a joke and disgrace, he should never have been allowed to the pull the shirt on in the first place.

He did a decent job for us last season. Balanced the side and helped drag us out of the ######.

If he balanced the side, and we've got the same side now, why are things so different?

Stop listening to Allardyce who needs to justify the 40k a week we're playing the idiot.

Easy how some forget. When on our knees last season, his signing was crucial in helping us stay up.

Of course, we must move on from last season, but some people cannot wait to put the knife into Diouf (understandable to a degree I guess).

I can't do with bullies. The stick he gets from the opposition should actually serve to unite us to support him. It did with Sav.

Maybe Brownie should be providing a bit of PR by prganising 'an audience with Spit' at the Hordens some time in the future.

Bit of advice...... Thats not really something to line yourself up with Gav. Waggy's become as popular on here as the proverbial 'turd in a swimming pool'. ^_^

He had 1 decent game last season, that’s his contribution to our survival and continued success, all that for 40k a week

He wants shipping out in January, but Allardyce is keen to prove to the fans that he’s the man in charge, so expect him to be robbing a living until the summer at least.

Relegation could have been worth more than £40k per week.

This form has been poor, but maybe he just needs a spell out of the team.

So you think he kept us up?

In my opinion he did nothing of the sort, but we all see things in different ways.

Because situations change, as does a player's form. Like I said, Diouf balanced the side last season and provided some good, gritty performances during our relegation dogfight. However, his form this season has failed to deliver and we're finding alternatives.

There is the proof that the manager can't win.

The day after we play 4-3-3 against the best team in the country and beat them you say that.

Allardyce is the man in charge, and things are really starting to come together judging by some of the things we've seen over the past few weeks/matches.

.......and Diouf did what exactly last night?

I'm surprised you like him so much theno, it seems you are always the first to defend him on the basis he can "hold a ball" (shame he can't move with one).

I pretty much agree with most of your opinions on the game but I can't see anything good about Diouf. We are a much better side without him, he has lost all his pace and is only 28. I wonder if all the nights playing gangster round Bolton have caught up with him?

Whatever, he is a poor player and an even worse human being and before anyone uses the "my mate said he carried an old woman's shopping" defence, I will just remind you that in 2006 he was questioned by police for splitting his wife's lip, has spat at opposing players and fans on numerous occasions and made false allegations of being the subject of racial abuse to deflect attention from having subjected a 15 year old to verbal abuse.

The guy is a prick and doesn't even have the decency to be a good player...

So what would you have us all do next match when the mickey mousers boo him..... join in with em? Kin ell bish, come on and think it through!

btw .... It's normally wiser to continue to agree with me unconditionally. Do keep that in mind. ;)

Diouf has played well on occasion, but just doesn't seem interested lately. His constant back passing and obvious lack of confidence with the ball is baffling and I honestly don't think we should be playing him right now. I don't believe in players losing their talent overnight and we all know Diouf used to be quite talented and was one of the stars from Africa, but at the moment he's just terrible. I honestly would prefer Pedersen because at least Pedersen can put in some decent crosses, is better defensively and can be good in the air if he wants to.

I wasn't talking about booing him or not booing him. I would just prefer it if the manager didn't pick him. I think Sam is doing a good job in the main but I think EHD is a favourite with him and that is disappointing.

I am just surprised you could rate him as a player. I thought he was a good player about 4 years ago but those days have gone.

The problem at the moment with Diouf, is that he is slowing the team down. Salgado who is older than him, is moving quicker forward. This is why Hoiliett and Elrio should be ahead of Andrews, Gamst and Diouf. Elrio is quick, and can hardly do any worse than Pedersen. Diouf is a good player, but he is offering us nothing going forward.

This is a Diouf thread :tu:

But why are you banging on about him (and at the same type aiming side swipes at Allardyce) the day after a brilliant performance and win? It just emphasises your personal dislike of the man clouds any sort of rational judgement based on what's happening on the field, like many others on here.

On Diouf, he's probably not good enough for our starting eleven at the minute, but he only cost £1 million and he was vital in our relegation escape last season when we literally had no-one else to play on the right side of midfield.

This is a Diouf thread, the place to bang on about him.

That may seem alien to some who drag threads off topic on a regular basis, but that’s it in a nutshell.

The reason I mentioned him was because he was omitted from the side, and as you say yourself:

“Brilliant performance and win”

Forgive me for being naïve but surely the two things are linked, hence the reason for discussion?

People need to realise that this site isn’t a true representation for how the Blackburn Rovers supporting public feel. Only a handful of supporters actually take time to post on here. Have a listen to what people are saying in the pubs and clubs and down at the ground, thats a real gage.

Diouf is robbing a living, that’s the popular consensus and I have to agree. Matters not one bit that we’ve just beaten 10 man Chelsea, he’s still robbing a living and shouldn’t be in the side.

Ps, he cost 1m and 40k a week by the way.

Something I've learnt on my psychology course: Correlation does NOT equal Causality. Chelsea lost with Joe Cole, Malouda, Ballack, Deco all starting with Drogba appearing....by what you say, that means they are worse than players in our team. There is a correlation between how green the grass is and the sale of Ice Cream, but that doesn't mean causality.

To use the same argument, Diouf was in the side last season, but did that really CAUSE us to stay up?

Don't worry, I know I'm being pedantic and stupid. Just adding a pointless bit of idiocy into it :P

Sorry you are naive and I don't feel like forgiving such blinkered opinion. Dunny, Givet and Andrews were all omitted and by your logic their omission must also be linked to our Brilliant performance and win.....

......... In fact more so cos you don't think Diouf contributes much at all.

I`m not sticking any knife in. I really really want Diouf to do well in a Rovers shirt. I believe the guy`s got the talent, he just doesn`t vary his game enough for me. Seeing as this is a Diouf thread, i thought i`d give my opinion.

I`ve absolutely no hidden agenda where Diouf is concerned.
