Our worst player on the pitch on Saturday (that's including from our subs). He's having a poor season and is one of the players from the starting 11 that needs to be replaced. I can see what he might add as a squad player and coming off of the bench, but he simply isn't up to starting in a premier league side as I don't see what he does really well. He doesn't score goals, doesn't cross that well, isn't that quick anymore...

Agree. considering his high wages I would like him to be replaced, but at least he needs to be dropped to see that he isnt contributing enough on the pitc.

I'd rather see Junior starting in that position. Diouf is all mouth and attitude.

I’m glad people are starting to see him for what he is. I understand the need for his presence last season, begrudgingly may I add, even though he did very little after the first couple of games. But this season he’s done nothing and contributes nothing to the team.

Everyone says his legs have gone, and he’s certainly much slower than he was last season, but I think its more to do with his attitude and possibly not putting in the hard miles in training. I could be doing him a disservice here, maybe he’s injured, but whatever it is, he needs giving away in the January sales.

Usual BRFC witch hunt in full swing I see. I'm bloody glad there is a proper expert in charge of the team.

EHD isn't the first and he wont be the last..... Wilcox, Carsley, Sherwood, Neill etc etc have all copped for it in the past. Fact is that EHD isn't playing all that badly imo. He's not very quick but thats about the only valid complaint one could have after the last few matches. Maybe cos he is in direct comparison to Hoillet this is enhanced. Beware though anybody else before jumping on the bandwagon....

1. He does possess qualities of defence and 'nous' that Hoillet doesn't have yet imo.

2. Hoilett hates BRFC and wants to be off.

3. If that happens he's still well in front of Pederson.

Lets engage our brains before putting our gobs into gear eh?

Oh and one final question eddie..... drop EHD and somebody else will cop for it cos somebody else will be the worst player on the pitch wont they? Or had that not occurred to you?

Unless the likes of Stoke or Hull panic I can't see him going anywhere. I am afraid we are stuck with I think, much like we we have been with Pedersen over the lat two seasons.

Such is llife. Sam will need to find a way to make use of him. If Roberts and Benni leave then I can see EHD falling into a role of a subsititute striker. Not ideal but plausible.

To say Hoillet "hates" is untrue isn't it? I know he has turned down a contract because he isn't playing but I thought that was it. Have you heard more?

Either way, I would prefer to take a risk with him than carry on with EHD playing because he can defend a bit better. He offers nothing going forward.

Wilcox, Carsley, Sherwood and Neill were all much better players than he is nowadays as well and none of them had been arrested for splitting their wife's lip...

How long contract does he have? Junior really should be ahead of Diouf on team selections. Right now it seems Junior is going and Diouf staying. Sam must fix that one.

I also would like to see Bentley back and to replace diouf, with junior on the other wing instead of Pederson - though the latter would be a handy to have on the bench. Junior, dunn, n'zonzi, bentley, with Di Santo and Kalinic up front (if bennie and roberts are sold) apart from Dunn, a young midfiled and forward line to last for a few seasons.

The San Carlo insider said: “He is always here and he knows everybody. He likes the pizzas, garlic bread and the Rose wine

Well that solves the lack of pace/fitness conondrum

When asked, last night, who was the biggest moaner, guess who came out on top (off the pitch mind...)? Yep, Diouf. Robbo said that he, along with Pascal, is as good as gold in the changing room though . He also said that they always have a laugh at Diouf because of the clothes he turns up in each day, the car and what comes out of his mouth. He also said that every club needs someone like him so he's not all bad... :) Oh yeah, and nothing, absolutely nothing is ever his fault! :D

  • Backroom

New lows for him tonight, did absolutely zero of a positive nature today, Jason Brown could have contributed as much from right wing today.

I have no idea why he started after Hoilett did well on Saturday by all accounts.
