American Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I think after the played against Blyth as well it looks like Bunn is our new number 2, shame for Brown in a way who never did a lot wrong but Bunn does look good and has a great potential. Brown might well leave before the end of the window. He's gone once the Beattie money comes through to Sheffied United, according to Nicko.

rovers1993 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 we're looking shaky currently.. lets hope we can come good sooner than later. andrews clearing off the line... very very close to conceding!
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Keith Andrews clears the ball off the line. Newcastle all over us at the moment.
rovers1993 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 we're just lumping it everywhere, no passes what so ever. we need to string some passes together.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Pathetic performance so far, being outplayed by a @#/?, injury plagued Newcastle side. Haven't even tested their rubbish defence...
DeadlyDirk Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Not the performance I was hoping for so far, I'll be happy if we can make it to half time 0-0, regroup and then come out a lot better in the second half, we'll need to.
colbert Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 considering we had two weeks off, should be storming this game
rovers1993 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 emerton is sooo frustrating.. we need a decent right winger and emo needs to go back to right back! this is sooo frustrating to watch!
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Wonder if its because we haven't played for a while? We rested a lot of our main players for the Blyth game and of course the Fulham game was called off. Lots of wayward passing and there is a lack of communication and organisation between the players. Going to get beat if we play like this in the second half...
rovers1993 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 i think it is because lack of action.. i think second half will be much better once our players get a wallocking from bfs. we need dunny on. and he's on now.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 No, it's because we aren't good enough. But we are a better side than Newcastle...
emerton Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 the positives is that its HT, we can't play much worse and were not losing... Would like to see more effective ball use from midfield in the 2nd half. Dunny's beard has been the highlight so far...
Rovers in America Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I barely recognized Dunny. He's more than misplaced his razor.
Rover Down Under Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Has the economic crisis affected razor production?
spencey7 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Would like to see more effective ball use from midfield in the 2nd half. I wouldn't hold your breath - Surely that is in antithesis of Allardyce football? Grim performance.
PAFELL Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Any live broadcast? I don't understand why people who cannot get to the game do not subscribe to roversworld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
krislu Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 But we are a better side than Newcastle... Not according to the PL table.
DeadlyDirk Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I barely recognized Dunny. He's more than misplaced his razor. Dunny has taken every precaution possible to avoid any more injuries this season, the last thing he needs is a nasty shaving cut ruling him out for another 3 weeks or worse still dropping a bottle of after shave on his foot. I admire his dedication to the cause.
Eddie Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I don't understand why people who cannot get to the game do not subscribe to roversworld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm subscribed but can't get it to work as I only have a mac at the moment...
Mr. E Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 No central midfield - no control - no game. A problem we should have been working on from the first of January, but...
last-minute-win Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I barely recognized Dunny. He's more than misplaced his razor. I saw him coming on and thought 'who the [...] is he'!
Esulx Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Live table puts us bottom with the Baggies winning.
