blue/white Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 whats the sunderland team, quite suprised that Sam is risking Nelson and Dunn As I've read elsewhere today 'Sam fancies a cup run'. It appears he's put his money where his mouth is.... whatever that silly phrase means.

Wild Irish Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 As I've read elsewhere today 'Sam fancies a cup run'. It appears he's put his money where his mouth is.... whatever that silly phrase means. Sunderland team, from BBC Gordon, Kay, Ferdinand, Collins, McCartney, Edwards, Leadbitter, Reid, Malbranque, Healy, Murphy. Subs: Colgan, Bardsley, Whitehead, Richardson, Yorke, Colback, C'mon Rovers - Spank em! I'm hoping to get down there soon - before half time at least
jim mk2 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 C'mon Rovers - Spank em! You were saying ? 1-0 down
Majiball Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 here's a link for those who can't watch. Radio
rover6 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Carlos Edwards is going to give Givet the run-around today. Tricky right winger vs. New Guy who's actually a centre half. Mistake Allardyce.
Wild Irish Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 You were saying ? 1-0 down Yup! That'll be me and my big mouth again... Ahem, c'mon ROVERS... SPANK EM!!!!
LeChuck Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Tricky right winger vs. New Guy who's actually a centre half. Actually, he started his career at left back then moved in to the middle for a while, and his spent his time since then alternating between the two. Don't let facts get in the way of a good moan though.
Majiball Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Well it seems to be us doing all the work, dunn's passing through them like a knife through butter according to the comentator. We'll punish them soon. 1-1 by 45 mins.
rover6 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Actually, he started his career at left back then moved in to the middle for a while, and his spent his time since then alternating between the two. Don't let facts get in the way of a good moan though. He played left back for our reserves recently and by all reports, got skinned a couple of times by some youngster. I fear the worst for this game because I personally think that Edwards is a very good winger - and very quick. Anyway, that wasn't a good moan, because I didn't mention Mokoena. WHAT THE FRIG IS AARON MOKOENA DOING ON A FOOTBALL PITCH?
Majiball Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Thats what he's doing on the pitch cracking goal
jannerman Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 WHAT THE FRIG IS AARON MOKOENA DOING ON A FOOTBALL PITCH? Scoring 30 yard screamers evidentially....lol
Balwer Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Santa misses a sitter from six yards out. Maybe the Sky Sports people were confused with Roberts?
Commondore Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Apparently a silly miss from Roque after a good cross from Villanueva...
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Did I hear right.....Aaron Mokoena scores a 30 yarder?! It was worth the 5 year wait!

WHAT THE FRIG IS AARON MOKOENA DOING ON A FOOTBALL PITCH? GETTING THE EQUALISER
Laurence Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 WHAT THE FRIG IS AARON MOKOENA DOING ON A FOOTBALL PITCH? ...Scoring
chocky Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 GETTING THE EQUALISER Ha Ha of all the players to score...a cracker as well...
alexanders Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Sounds good. I predict 2-1 Rovers. Roberts y Mokoena That's what I call a jackpot!
T4E Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 WHAT THE FRIG IS AARON MOKOENA DOING ON A FOOTBALL PITCH? AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Amo Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Apparently Carlos has been lively in the first half.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 The Sunderland commentary are praising King Carlos a lot. If he impresses tonight again then maybe we might see him gradually coming into the team.
