Kremmin Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 get in WOOHOOO! And that ladies and gentleman was the last goal in our best of five sets with Sunderland.
BuckyRover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Quality. Great stuff. Well done Sam and the boys.

tony gale's mic Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 2227: GOAL Blackburn 2-1 Sunderland Benni McCarthy heads in for Blackburn from the excellent Carlos Villanueva's free-kick with about four minutes remaining. Is this the turning point of his season? Always felt like he wasn't given a proper chance, we desperately need a player like him.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Good to see McCarthy looking like the Benni of old under Big Sam. Let's hope we can hold out for the victory and one step closer to Wembley.
Iceman Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 We should have had 11 South Africans playing, we would be 11-1 up by now lol.
Lathund Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Benni! Carlos!!! I was in the midst of typing my reasoning for penalty takers, but seems it won't be needed. Fairly uninspiring penalty takers out there, but I did come up with; Benni Tugay Carlos Zurab Robinson With the reasoning behind them it kinda makes sense, sortof, but cba to list them
tony gale's mic Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Time to get sweet revenge vs Coventry...
alexanders Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 It seems like Villanueva has the left-foot Gamst has lost!
Balwer Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Question (only watching the text version online), Golden Goal or not?
stuwilky Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Is this the turning point of his season? Always felt like he wasn't given a proper chance, we desperately need a player like him. I wonder what the reasons are behind his sparing introduction. Might I wish for a similar reintroduction to that of Pedersen from the Cardiff City game also in the cup?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Question (only watching the text version online), Golden Goal or not? Nope.

stuwilky Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Question (only watching the text version online), Golden Goal or not? Not for about 5 years. Its full time now anyway.
chileandude Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Question (only watching the text version online), Golden Goal or not? Got the same question...what happened with the commentary? Did the guy writing suffer a heart attack?
